Thanks guys! Yes, after 2 long years I finally sold the place. At least, I have a contract & it's under attorney review. This poor dumb chick has no idea what she's in for. My realtors are taking the lock box off the front door today b/c they don't want her coming back for a 3rd visit & saying "oh jeez, those buses/trains/fire trucks/rescue trucks/illegal ATM parkers sure are noisy." }(
So I found almost the same exact house--a little nicer, powder room downstairs & 2 car garage, neither of which I have, but most importantly a FINISHED BASEMENT! I'll finally have a home workout space! WHOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I am very excited, in case you haven't noticed. ;-)

SIX WEEKS! Eep! Mine sold in a day and I had four offers. I guess I hit the market at the right time.

Well, my house has "issues." As in not having a garage or driveway. There's actually a municipal lot I pay $60 a year for about 50 feet from my front door, but the lack of a driveway seemed to really put people off.
On the other hand, I'm also 50 feet from the train station. The trains are relatively quiet (as opposed to the diesel buses which will wake you out of a drunken coma) & being that close to a 20 minute commute into Manhattan is really desirable.
Either way, I'm gonna GTF out while the gettin's good. It's the only reasonable offer I've had in 2 years. I asked my attny to expedite the process & wrap it up by Friday if possible, before the numbskull changes her mind.
