  • 20 push-ups
  • 15 American KB swings (24K/16K) used 24K
  • 10 pull-ups
  • 5 ring dips (don't have rings, so I did tricep dips)

  • Jump around a bunch - no time, running late

There seems to be a lot to celebrate today! :) YAY! for happy times. :D

I was going to take a rest day today, but after the crap I ate last night there is no way I could justify doing nothing. ;)


Here is the workout:

10-1 couplets - finish each couplet before you move on to the next

burpees/pull ups
squat ball tosses/sit ups
swings (35#)/prison pushups

I will be back later to check in with time and catch up - or maybe I should save the catching up for Monday :p.

Deanie, I love your workout for today. That is a really great time for 5 rounds! Very, very impressive, and woohoo for beating your previous time by almost a minute and a half!!!! :D

I am so excited! I did 1 minutes of handstands! :D:D:D I did 4 @ 15 seconds each. With support from a wall of course. :p


I got through the workout as described in under 25 minutes, but it being a Saturday and I haven't done a "long" workout in a while, I went through the entire list of exercises (not as couplets) and did them 3-1, 5 rounds of 1 rep each, and then worked back up to three. Does that make sense? I then cooled down a bit and decided to add the handstands. The time total was 35:50 plus the headstands.


It is another beautiful day today, and I am trying to convince DH that we need to go to the park downtown - it is beautiful, on the river, has a great playground for the kids and the best trails. I am so tired of seeing a video game remote everyone's hands when he is off work. :confused: I don't allow him to complain about gaining weight to me anymore. :rolleyes::p
