Good Morning!

I had a great run yesterday!

Today I am doing a circuit workout. It's from CF Jersey Shore but I put a little touch of "Jane" in it.

Five Rounds
40 seconds of work/20 seconds of rest
1 minute rest between rounds

Sandbag Step Ups
Renegade Rows
1-Arm Weighted Sit ups 5/5 (love these :D)
Slam Ball (love these EVEN more :D:D)
Planks
Double Armed kettlebell presses

Melissa ~ Thanks for starting us out this morning!! :) I'm glad to hear you love running!! It's hard for me but I love it. Do you do any races? How were those Georgia pecans?? ;)

Deanie ~ Great workout yesterday. Getting a little extra workout is good! Don't sweat it! :)

Marcy ~ I'm thinking of getting Insanity. I probably wouldn't do it as prescribed but would have it on hand when the weather is bad and I can't workout in my yard. It's hard to find tough cardio workouts that aren't step.

Tammy ~ WTG on upping the weights. You need to do that to see how you progress. Good job!!

Good Afternoon All!

I did 10 Days to a Better Body Upper & Lower today (minus abs and a couple of lower body exercises - ran out of time). Burned 300 calories in 52 minutes.
Upper Body
Rows - 10#; heel digs
Balancing Delt Rows - 5#; jump rope
Tricep kickbacks - 5#; cross country with jabs
Windshield Wipers - 5#; plyo lunges
Balancing Clean & Press - 10#; jacks
Repeat Clean & Press other side - 10#; football drill with jump squat
Tricep Extensions and with pulses- 10#; ski jumps
Bicep curl up, out, in and down - 10#; speed skaters
Shoulders - front raise each arm (arm in hammer curl position), lateral raise alternating arms; double jog with elbow chop
Lower Body
All Lower Body with 10#
Squats
Deadlifts
Alternating reverse lunges and with pulses; hammer punch lunges
Plie Squats; Burpees
Wide leg turned out deadlifts
Cross body 1-legged deadlift
Curtsey lunges

Jane - The Insanity workouts sound like they're probably the toughest cardio workouts on the market today. But we'll have to wait and see what Shock Cardio is like.
