Hey, I am sorry I have been MIA since the weekend. I haven't worked out since last Wednesday - until today. I did SIM this morning, bright and early! I finally have my schedule worked out where everyone is happy, especially Mom. ;)

Deanie, how was jury duty?

It looks like I missed a lot, so I will go back a few days with the check-in and be back later this afternoon. Our school day is almost finished so it shouldn't take to much longer. :)

Good Afternoon!

I did Mix It Up today and had another great workout (and calorie count went up from last week!):

I used 10# for most of the workout. I went up to 10# on the Standing Chest Flyes, C-Sweep, Tricep Press, kickbacks and pullovers (up 2#). I went up to 12# on the supine and rotating French Press (up 2#).

I love Mix it Up! It's the one workout where I can consistently go up in weight each week.

I also did the Power Thighs workout from the Ultimate Cardio Barre Advanced. This is one killer workout! I think I'll be using this as an add-on quite frequently.

I've decided tomorrow I will be probably try Jillian's NMTZ.

Deanie - I decided I'll stick with Tone It Up and Mix it Up for another week (my two fave SS workouts) and start adding in Jillian (30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones and Boost Your Metabolism) and possibly yoga. I think I'll be doing NMTZ tomorrow.

Nice job on the bbl getup situp!:) You must be getting a really strong core!

Deanie - Nice workout and WTG on the BB get up situp! They look so bad-ass. ;) I got PTTP last night, but only had time to scan it. I did the Brutal Minimal Fitness WOD that you posted last week (swings & OHS)...my hamstrings are feeling it today!

Marcy - PTTP is Pavel's book Power to the People. Great results with SS!!

Melissa - Glad you got your schedule back in order. This time of year is crazy!!

Rhonda - I'm happy that you were able to come up with a plan...sending more {{{hugs}}} anyway. ;) What classes are you taking?

Jane - I looked at your Saturday workout and my legs screamed too! Hope they're feeling better!

It's been a busy day.

I'm going for a run this afternoon. The weather has been beautiful even though it's been in the 90's.

Hi everyone. The 1st day of school with kids wore me out. I don't know why but I was beat. I went surfing last night ( the couch and channels :p).

This morning, I got up bright and early and did Providence. I meant to order ETK when it was on sale but I forgot. I Just ordered the workbook and I will order the book.

Deanie- 8 minutes of swings with Bertha:eek:! Way to go. You are making some serious progress. Thanks for the link to your blog.

Marcy- Good workout. Ultimate Cardio Barre sounds interesting. Thanks for your input regarding ETK.
