Good Morning!!!

Today I go back to work:(:( So I just took it easy today and ran on the treadmill. I did the HIIT program and then did 8 min. of snatches with my 25#kb.

Gayle: How was PTTP? are you following crossfit 603 week 1 day 1?

Jane: did you get your swim in?

Marcy: are you still doing the slim series?

Rhonda: I put out 2 outfits last night and I actually wore one of the 2 today!!! (thought of you;))

Melissa!!! missed you! Have fun working out at your gym. Now maybe you can do some deadlifts at the gym....During the school year, I usually go to bed by 9:30pm! Lucky for me, DH has to be at work early most days, so he also goes to bed about that time. Problem will be soon, when kids will be up till 10, and DH and I will still want to go to bed at 9:30!!:eek:LOL

have a great day everyone!!

Good morning!

Jane - I hope you had a great swim! Pavel says "Hi". :p

Deanie - Have a good day at work! WTG with those snatches! So far so good with PTTP. The weight is light, so I'm trying to really concentrate on the movements. I more or less did CF 603's day 1 of PTTP. Tonight I'm going to do some OHS practice after the PTTP stuff. I'm also going to try to work in some TGUs more often, since that's something I tend to ignore completely, but really shouldn't.

Marcy - Nice workout! I saw last week you mentioned wanting to try handstand pushups. Given the advanced inverted stuff you can do in yoga, I bet you'd be good at these.

Melissa - Great to see you! I think going to the gym is a great idea. Sometimes a change in scenery (and different equipment) can be motivating. Do they offer classes, too? I hope you're able to get your sleep schedule worked out. I've also had to become more disciplined in not only going to bed, but winding down so I can sleep...which means no computer after 8:30 pm. This may sound weird, but something about it gets my brain hyperactive and it takes forever to get into sleep mode.

Waves hello to Rhonda!!

Have a great day ladies!!

Hi everyone!

This morning I did Body Max 2 Time Saver cardio. It was hard because I don't know the moves. I burned 350 calories though.

Deanie- Have a great 1st day of school! It is so much easier when you don't have to think about what you want to wear.

Melissa- Missed ya. Glad you're back. I love Jeremiah 29:11. I keep getting multiple messages from different sources about forgiveness. I guess I need to work on that. I go to bed early also. It seems the only way I can get in a workout is to go to bed by 10.

Gayle- Thanks! Way to go on PTTP.

Marcy- Way to go on Shred level 3.

Waves to Jane. Have a teriffic Tuesday.

Hey all!!! :) :) :)

Deanie, my DD is already there - she is only 12, but she can do fine on only 7 or 8 hours of sleep while I need at least 9 - we get up at the same time but she still looks fresh by the time I look dead in the evenings... not fair! But she still has to stay in her room - nobody is allowed in the kitchen after I have already cleaned it!!! :p:p;)

Gayle, no computer after a certain time is a great idea... especially since computer is what keeps me up. Great idea, thank you for mentioning it. :)

Rhonda, ah, forgiveness. 77 times in one day no matter what the offence - when just 1 time for a small one is hard enough. Thankfully, God is not like we are!

I haven't gotten a workout in yet: I cleaned from 7-9 and have been painting the rest of the day. I got a new color for our bathroom called "peach tickle", which I thought sounded really dirty and was hilarious so of course I had to have in my house somewhere. It is a pretty yellow color, and it actually matches our lily pad and frog theme perfectly - which I think proves that God has a sense of humor. :p

Not sure if I will get a workout in - I would like to, was planning on doing legs, but DD has a cross country meet tonight and DS has practice. I don't regret having a clean house, but I wish I would have worked out first. I will try to get it in soon.

Have a great day everyone!

Melissa

Hi Everyone,

No swim yesterday due to rain :( so I did a quick kettlebell and ab workout. I was going to take a rest day but my sis wanted to workout.

Tonight I'm going for a run IF it doesn't rain!!

I'm trying to get prepared for a meeting so I'll try come back later.

Waves hi to everyone!!

Good Afternoon!

Today I did Edward Clark's Tripsichore Yoga (Regular Practice - handstand) -- or at least attempted to do it! This is one tough practice! There are many handstands in this and a few headstands. I did some against the wall and was able to push away from the wall for a second or two. I also attempted some in the middle of the room. I did a backbend from standing position and did a walkover out of it (probably the first time since high school). Clark got into handstand from positions I've never seen before. It was amazing to watch. Don't know if I'll ever get there but I will keep trying.

So are any of you getting Shock Cardio? Sorry if I already asked this.

Deanie - Hope your first day of school went well. Do you boys like their teachers? WTG on the snatches!:D Done with Slim Series. Glad I did it. My plan is to do 30 Day Shred 3x a week and on those days I will also do a barre workout. The other two days I will do yoga and cardio. I've really missed doing yoga. Although I do want to try doing two Jillian's back to back.

Melissa - Welcome back! Missed you. Hope you get a workout in. Maybe just trying do step without the step.

Gayle - Congratulations on getting your drywall! If you can, please post pics when your kitchen is complete. No computer for me at home except on the weekends. 40 hours a week is enough! I'm usually working out between 6 and 6:15. 20 Tuck Jumps:eek: WTG!

Jane - I hope it doesn't rain for you.

Rhonda - 350 is great for the timesaver cardio.

Marcy

Just popping in to say YES! I got my leg workout it.

Ladder (10-1) of:
R step ups
R drop squats
strait leg DL
L step ups
L drop squats
sumos

*the smaller the reps, the higher the weight

then a high knee jump rope tabata

Fun! But I am going to have to lose the drop squats the next time I do this workout and replace them with just regular squats - I didn't like they way they felt.

See you later, gotta get to the meet!

Melissa
