BBL- getting carpet installed today!
Today I did Amy's Kickbox Surge. I really love this workout. The choreography finally seemed to click for me today. I did the whole kickbox workout minus Combo 5 and Surge 5. I skipped the core. I'll have to switch things up next time because combo 5 looks fun. The music on this is great.
Laura - Welcome back! Looks like your trainer put you through a grueling workout!
Deanie - Great workout! Are you doing pushups every day? Looks like your playroom is just about complete! Please post pics when done.
Hey Marcy::: sounds like you enjoyed your workout today! kickbox is always fun Yes, playroom is almost done! (whew!) we will move the furniture down there, when I get my new family room furniture (end of July/beginning of August) - Macy's had a great sale, we couldn't pass up! I will post pictures, tomorrow when DH is home - I don't know how Pushups are in SIM: one type in each round - so I am doing them 4X week with SIM week.I am alternating Pullups and swings since they aren't done in SIM, and I don't want to loose any ground; and adding in dl 2X a week for the same reason!
I came home from the dentist and the carpet guys were already here (earlier than the time I was given) thank goodness they waited!!
Thanks for the welcome back. I bailed on Providence yesterday. I just couldn't motivate myself to do it. I did an hour of CS. I must have picked two of the hardest segments because I thought I was going to keel over.
Today I did rounds 1-9 of Providence and a leg segment from Classical Stretch.
Deanie- I love decorating and remodeling. I hate painting though I love choosing paint colors. My first job out of college was a 3 month stint at Sherwin Williams. I can mix paint like a pro and figure out what will look good and what won't. Looking forward to seeing the playroom. So what is the goal and concept of SIM? All I know is that you are kicking butt.
Marcy- I am glad you are liking Kickbox Surge. I have Kickbox Xtreme and it took me a few times to get it. One because I am uncoordinated and two because I don't think she cues as well as Cathe.
Laura- Glad you are back and hope that you continue to recover. Even if you are having an episode, pop in and let us know so that we can give you some virtual love and care.
Jane- Loved the story about you shaving your dad.
Waves to everyone. How do you change the font color?
Farmer - - To change the font color, go to the "A" with the the line underneath. There's an arrow on the side where you can pick your color.
Kickbox Surge is easier to pick up than Kickbox Xtreme. I admit her cueing could be a little better but once you learn it, you don't worry so much about the cueing.
Good work on Providence! Are you quads all recovered now?
Jane - I also loved the story about shaving your Dad. Enjoy the precious moments.
Deanie - You just reminded me I need to start chinning and pulling again. I don't think I've done them in about a week. You definitely lose ground with them if you're not consistent.
Marcy: Well done with the workout. I love kickbox dvds. I've got the Kimberley Spreen dvd I might try tomorrow. Cardio Combat Surge
Farmer. I've heard some good things about the Classical Stretch dvds although I've never saw a clip. Thanks for the kind words.
Jane: Good luck with the 5k. I have nothing but respect for runners. Running is way hard. Hopefully over time I may be able to start running a bit myself.
I might do an Eoin Fynn dvd tonight to stretch me out.
Anyway take care
Marcy- Thanks The quads are good! I will probably pick up that dvd when they get it at Deep Discount DVD.
Right now I feel dumber than a bag of Dum Dum lollipops and like I am the dullest tool in the shed. Where is this A with the underline that you speak of?
Jane- Have a good run. Stay hydrated.
Laura- Great workout! ITA about running but I think when you do KB running becomes easier.
bragging: My DS13 just took the pictures and downloaded them and posted them!!! How cool is that?! I have no idea how to do this stuff- lol! He just taught me
also the color on the walls is more coffee color, but in the pictures it looks more golden.....
I have been reading your check-in as I have currently been doing an all KB rotation. I used to check-in with Deanie in the daily check-in Hi Deanie! Thanks for the shout out yesterday!!
Anyway, I have been rotating AOS Providence & Newport with KB Way Empire State for about 6 weeks now. The other 3 days are cardio. I just downloaded AOS Diva and Resolution.
Today was KB Way Empire State and I did up the weight on some exercises.
Just reading your workouts today makes me want to work out harder...GOSH!!!!
Deanie ~ Great pix and GREAT workout! WHEW! Thanks for the welcome!
Hello everyone else, please give me time to learn all your names.
