Just what I've been waiting for, Injectable liposuction

I knew someday they'd come out with something that you can inject in your body to reduce fat from that area. Well, it's here, YIPPEE!!!! I just saw it on the news called LipoDissolve. Since it's new, I'm sure it will need lots of tweaking so I will wait until it's perfected but at least it's out there. The before and after photos for the thighs (my extra baggage area:() aren't drastic enough for me but perhaps in time, they will be. The abs and chin photos look great! I'm like a kid in a candy store, literally, I'm going to the candy store to stock up!:p

RE: Just what I've been waiting for, Injectable liposuc...

I have a friend who spent a LOT Of money on this. Let me just say, it DID NOT work for her. I think maybe she thought she saw a bit of a difference after every injection, but there are multiple injections, at different intervals, required to make any noticeable result. She spent so much on her "sessions" that she had them finance her payment on *their* terms. It really came off like a scam to me.

I'd be careful if I were you! This just doesn't sound good. :(

I embarassed to admit I tried it. In my upper thighs. They swelled and hurt so bad I thought I might die! It did not work for me, the doctor said I really didn't have much to "melt away" in the first place so that was why I didn't notice results. I went and had three sessions, it takes two weeks after each session for the swelling to go down! I had to take painkillers it hurt so bad.

Save your money for the real deal if that is what you want, do not waste it on this crap.

Thanks JeanneMarie for that info. I'm sorry your friend had to spend so much money with no results. I do hope they come up with something injectable that actual does work. :)

Tneah, I feel so bad that you went through what you did. Have you completely healed from that ordeal? I sure hope so. Thanks for letting me know. Please don't feel embarassed that you tried it. We never know how anything will be until we try it. I just wish you had a better experience. I just hope that you're o.k. now.

I think that most of the places doing those injections have been closed or closed voluntarily after many complaints. I remember seeing something on the news and in the papers about this. And for some strange reason most of these places were in the midwest I think--Kansas ? Kentucky? Anyway another "too good to be true" story I believe.

You are correct, Phyllis, the Fig clinics in AZ, GA, KS, KY, MO, NV and TX have closed. There is info on the website stating that they closed their doors due to "economic conditions beyond their control." I know the doctor who ran the clinic here in MO, and he said they were given no notice. They were simply told by company representatives that they were closing immediately due to bankruptcy proceedings and that they had about 25 minutes to gather their things and get out. I don't know that it had anything to do with whether or not the procedue is effective. I do know that it is not something I would do--or allow to be done to me.

No, I am fine now, that was a few years ago. But there is a wildly popular clinic here in Vegas, "Fig" its called. Britney Spears came and got the shots, does it look like they worked? Granted we are talking about Britney, but still, they are a joke. Go get real lipo if you must, but don't waste your time and money on this crap.

I'm sure they'll come up with something less invasive than liposuction and that is safe in the future . I'm in no hurry. I can wait. :)

Tneah, I'm glad you have no repercussions from your ordeal and that you are doing well now. Thank you for sharing your experience.
