Just a quick question to all...

Cathlete
Hi! I am a huge Cathe fan, as I think we all are. I have created my own workouts--both cardio & weights together. I also have my own cardio equipment. I have an elliptical, treadmill, and arc trainer. I am in very good shape and do a ton of Cathe's plyos + interval training on my machines. Just wondering how many of you out there do more than one workout per day (when you get the chance). I love to workout two times per day and was just curious as to how many others do & feel the same. Anyways, love to hear... Thanks,

K

I don't work out at 2 separate times but more often than not I do two workouts. Today was a 6k run then L&G. Tomorrow I'm thinking StepMax and PUB. I sweat like a horse so working out at separate times and having to shower again would really start to intrude on my day. Working out is my 'play time' and an hour of play is not enough for me}( :)

Hi K-

I'm a big fan of splitting up workouts if my schedule allows.

I like to get my cardio done in the early AM and then lift in the afternoon. That way, I can refuel and "rest up" post cardio so that I am more focused for weight training.

That being said, it does sometimes get difficult trying to arrange times to get both activities put into the schedule, but it sure is a nice way to train.

Take care, Lynn M.

Hello,

I am like Laurie, I don't like to sweat too much in a day so I usually do 2 workouts consecutively if I can fit it in. I start with cardio and then weight train.

Jane - do you find that cardio in the PM is more beneficial for you than in the AM? Or is it just difficult for you to get the motivation to do cardio that early? Let me know b/c I am thinking of doing the same thing, although I would prefer the early cardio at this point...Clarissa
