Hi everyone!! I missed you all!! We got back late Friday night, but I've been busy with unpacking, laundry, more laundry, even more laundry, and getting back to normal stuff. Saturday morning Caitlyn came down with a fever. She's been really sick - fevers close to 104. She keeps saying her head hurts. I took her to the doctor yesterday and left feeling a bit frustrated. I love three of the four doctors there and of course I got the fourth one. She's fine, but she's younger and I don't think she's as thorough or precautious as the others. She did a strep test which was negative, but Caitlyn does have white spots on her throat. She said it's just something going around. Except we haven't been "around" for two weeks - how would she get it? I'm giving it another day and taking her back in if she's not better. She's just so miserable - I feel bad.
Today is my baby boy's (Colin's) 10th birthday! Wow - how did that happen? This is my first day back at work, so I'm having working mother's guilt that I'm not there on his birthday. But, I made a cake last night (chocolate cake with chocolate frosting -mmm!) so we'll have that tonight. Saturday is his party/sleepover/campout in the backyard. I think eight boys are coming. So far the weather looks good. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Vacation was good, but I was so glad to be home. Two weeks was just too much. I think I'm the only one who felt that way, but I had enough! The weather was actually pretty cool most of the time. Nice, but not good for swimming or boating really. We were right on a lake. We did have a few good days on the water, though. Kids had a blast. Their cousins came up for a few days and one stayed with us for the entire second week. Bringing the dog was not such a good idea. She was fine, but she couldn't be left alone in the cabin. She'd cry and try to get out. She went through the screen one time. Luckily, it popped right back in.

So, we had to take her everywhere.
I turned into a total slug and didn't workout at all until yesterday. I feel like a big squishy potato. I did run with Tully a few times on vacation, but that was it. Yesterday I did Tonya Larson's Step Surge which was perfect for getting back into it. Not too hard. Today was Amy's Kickbox Surge - I only made it through the first four combos. Now I need to figure out what rotation I'm going to do and stick to it!!
How is everyone? I haven't had a chance to look at the threads I missed. Hope you are all doing well! Anyone ordering Insanity? I'm seriously thinking about it. I need to do a month of a Cathe rotation, first, though. I think I'd kill myself if I just jumped into it.
Hottie, are you still doing CLX? Are dogs the best?
Hey Kathy. Plyo Legs sounds good. Are you doing Cathe's July rotation? How did you like it? I got the DVD in the mail from you yesterday - glad you liked it.
Lots of work stuff to catch up on...
