How exciting to have the forums back up and running with an entirely new look and feel.

So what have you all been doing during the Cathe outage of 08? lol
 
Hi Vilma!!!! I haven't been checking in much lately, it has been a very busy summer. I just wanted to say "hi" now that we are on the new forums!

I wasn't able to get a WO in today because I have had a bit of the flu. I am itching to get back to it, though, esp with all this new motivation! AND I just got MM and GS legs in the mail today. UGH!

Vilma, were you able to get a WO in today? What rotation are you following?

Glad to see you back posting here.

No workout for me today, turned out to be an unplanned rest day as TOM hit me hard. Today motrin was my BFF :rolleyes:

I just finished Debbie's Get Ready for Summer '08 rotation. At the moment I am going to try doing cardio 3-4 days per week and total body & or circuits the other 3 days.

Sheesh having the flu is bad, I would just take it as easy as possible you don't want a relapse.
 
I'm finally getting back into my workout routine. (I've been on again off again for about 2 years). I worked out today and plan to work out 4-5 times per week to get back into it. Nothing real hard yet but not being lazy anymore. I'm so glad this site is back up and looking great to help me get motivated.

Thanks for all yalls posts that help get me back where I need to be.

Just take your time in getting back into the swing of things and listen to your body.

Just keep checkin' in and posting so we can all motivate each other to do the best we can - its all about support right? :)
 
Hi everyone!! So glad to have the forum up and running again..We had a busy day..We went to the pool this afternoon and then to a baseball game tonight..

I got a workout in today..I did High Step Challenge today...

I was going through some serious withdrawals while the forums was down.

Isn't that so bad? :D I'm just glad it's back up so I can get my daily fitness chatter fix.

Didn't workout today as I stated above - TOM has hit me real hard this time around, so I'm listening to the ol' bod and hopefully will have my energy back soon enuf :eek: Guess TMI eh?

HSC eh? I may need to do that one this week :) I swear its another one that I can't remember when I did last I'm guessing before spring oy. :eek:
 
Hey Vilma: You are now offically added as a "friend" in my profile..I am loving this new board. Of course, now I need time to go through all the different threads and stuff. It will be fun to play with for a while..

I love that we can see the posts. I hated trying to remember what everyone wrote. I love to try and respond to everyone..

Oh and I am with you on the TOM stuff. Just finishing up mine too..That is why I rested on yesterday..No energy to even get my butt going with yoga!!!
 
Hi Kathy, I love HSC, I have only done it one time, but I thought Cathe was going to kill me.....in a good way! :p My DH took my kiddos to the pool today so that I could rest, it seems like it was a great day to be out!

Hi Tracy, good luck in getting back into the swing of things! These check ins are great motivation to keep you going!

I'm off to play some more, then I am headed to bed.
 
Hey Becca!!! I am just loving the boards..I gotta hit the sack. I am so tired..Tomorrow I am going to spend more time playing around an learning about all the things I can do on the new forums.. I enjoyed the workout today. My tucks weren't as high as Cathe's. But, then again they never are. She is like a kangaroo with how high she jumps!
 
Sunday Morning July 20th

So I'm hoping Chris, Joanne and Deb find their way back here.

No workout again for me as I just feel so sick - A.F. is being a royal PITA and I'm having a hard go of it this time around .

I'm going to try to do one of my CC's and see if Coach Sean helps get my mojo back. After I dose myself up with pain reliever in the name of 800mg of motrin :eek:

I am getting so antsy and I want to move but my energy level is bottomed out along with the migraine I feel coming on and feeling as if I need to chuck my food ugh! :confused:

Vilma: Hope you are feeling better...I am off to do some cardio..I didn't get good sleep last night. So, my energy isn't what it should be...Probably some FIRM cardio DVDs..

Ok..Back to report that I did FIRM Maximum Calorie Burn plus abs workout..Wasn't up for hardcore cardio like Cathe. But, tomorrow's planned workout for me is Body max..So that will kick it up a level...

Good for you for getting your WO in even if you didn't sleep well.

I decided to give myself one more day. I was lying down in my robe and heating pad for most of the day - I truly hate when AF gets this bad as it disrupts my daily activities.
