JessJugs/P90X Question???

I just got my package last night and was thrilled even stayed up past my bedtime to watch some of the dvds but I had a question about the nutrition aspect of P90X. I fall under the Phase 1 Fat Shredder, portion approach. I came up with a daily menu for myself and only came up with almost 1400 calories (I log in my calories at my fitnesspal.com) thats with the protein bar and recovery drink included. The program calls for 1800 calories am I doing something wrong?



Anyone who is familiar with P90x please feel free to chime in.

Oh wow that's really funny. Jess is actually my daughters name. Her full name is Jessica Lynn but she just likes Jess. She thinks it cool. But anyway I figured out the problem. The nutrition book has the amount of calories each food group should have but when I log the food into myfitnesspal.com some of the foods there are not the same calorie count as the book. Like the book says each carb should be 200 calories but when I logged in 2 slices of whole wheat bread myfitnesspal.com said it was only 120 calories. But I'm going stick with the 50% 30% 20% rule which is what is the fat shedder phase one is and maintain 1800 calories. Yep, it is a cool name! ;) Jess is just quicker to type! I feel like when I get Jessica, it means I'm in trouble!

Yeah, they figure the carb cals as 200, but it might be a little less. 1/2 cup of oatmeal is a serving, but that's only 150 cals. I love MFP, that's what I use to log my food also. I'll email you!
