Jason Update...

When we rescued Jason, he was rescued with another dog named Panda (who looked just like a panda). Anyway, they became best buddies and were even boarded together. Panda got adopted and Jason was so sad. That's when I decided to foster him. He has been really happy in my house but knowing I can not keep another dog, I was hoping he would get a home.

Well, I got to adoptions today and there was a family there looking at one of our puppies. We started talking and it turned out they were PANDA'S family and looking for a friend for Panda! I swear it must have been fate. They fell in love with Jason, but really, who wouldn't? They took him home in a foster-to-adopt situation to make sure he gets along with Panda. Panda was adopted five months ago so they might not remember each other right away.

Anyway, PLEASE keep your fingers crossed and send good vibes to Jason!!! I do know that he is scared when in new situations and has not liked it when I have not been with him (like when I have left him at adoptions). I think he is going to need some time to adjust but I really think he will be fine.

So...let's hope that everything works out and they end up adopting Jason. How wonderful would it be for him to have his best buddy living with him?

Oh, Lorie, he is just way too cute! I think it sounds like "someone" is giving Jason a second chance to be with Panda. I agree, it does sound like fate. My fingers are crossed for the little guy!

I don't know if you remember, but I emailed you a little while ago inquiring about adopting Jason. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do so, but I have been following your updates very, very closely. I am just so excited that this incredibly beautiful animal may have found the perfect home. It actually makes me tear up!

Thank you for all you do and for taking Jason in when nobody else could.

Well, I just got off the phone with Jason's foster mom and she said he is doing great. He and Panda are lying together on a rug.

I am so glad and hope they continue to do well together!!!
