iTrain Question

I was looking around on the iTrain website and noticed something I'd not seen before -- iTri workouts. Has anyone done these? The clips are so short that I couldn't get a sense of them. Are they supposed to be done in a gym on multiple pieces of equipment, or can you do the whole workout on one machine? TIA for your replies:)

I've done them. It starts out with a treadmill segment, then you move to elliptical/stairclimber, then on to the bike and back to the treadmill. I don't have a bike. So, I may do that segment on my elliptical. You could probably use it on one piece of equipment if necessary. I like the change up though.

Thanks!! I don't go to a gym but I have an elliptical at home. I was kind of interested in these but didn't want to invest if they won't work well on one piece of equipment.

Great! I just got hooked on the iTread workouts....am seriously considering buying an iClimb to use at the gym....now there are iTri workouts? MAN!!!! What's a girl to do with all these choices? LOL

Hi Michele. I have all three of the iTri workouts and have done 2 of them. They are a lot of fun, but I go to a gym and have access to TMs, elis, and bikes. You could probably do them all on one machine, but I don't really have a feel for how it would go since I usually do the different segments on the different machines. I am pretty sure you could do the icycle part on the elliptical, but I am not sure how the itreads translate. Let us know if you try it out.

Gayle - If you have access to a gym you have to download an iTri as your next itrain. It is a blast!!

ETA - Here's a code for a free itrain workout, which I found posted on the VF website.

Promotional code: AH2007

Thanks Karin! I was wondering if you did any iTrain workouts. I have a few iClimbs and I like them a lot but I'm still partial to Cardio Coach. That Press Play workout is my all time favorite. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. Thanks a lot for the promotional code!

Gayle, there are 3 or 4 iTri workouts and they're mixed in with the iTreads. I'm really intrigued by them. I think I will download one and see how it works on an elliptical. :D
