For those of you with a Polar HRM:
What do you have your VO2 Max set at? I know you can only guestimate without a treadmill test done by a professional, but I want my calories burned count to be as accurate as possible. I found a formula on the internet that estimated my VO2 max to be around 40, but the test on my HRM estimated 53. Big difference in calculating calories burned. Anyone have any info on whether I can trust the HRM test estimate? I don't want to think I'm burning hundreds more calories than I really am.
Thanks!
Kelly
