is it possible

No, unless genetically you are predisposed to maintaining muscle mass without consistant true resistance training.

I think it depends on the situation. Are you thinking of just adding a day or two of power yoga to a rotation/routine that includes other strength training? Are you thinking of taking a small break from traditional strength training to solely focus on power yoga?

In both of those situations I don't think you would see any significant loss of muscle.

If, however, you mean discontinuing traditional stregth training permanently to focus soley on power yoga than I agree with AquaJock.

this is what i was planning on doing.
monday: full body weights with 30 min cardio
tuesday: 60 min power yoga with 30 min cardio
wednesday:45 min cardio
thursday: same as tuesday
friday: same as monday
i don't want any more muscle. i want to get leaner but yet stay feminine. recently i had said was going to stop doing cardio but i decided against that for heart health purposes

I do something similar to what you described. I only work out with weights twice a week. I can definitely say that I haven't lost any muscle, in fact I like the way I look better this way. I think I have a nice *toned* look that isn't overly muscular.

Everyone is different, of course, but doing full body weights twice a week has been enough for me to maintain my muscle mass. I also switch strength training videos quite frequently(which I like to do) so I also feel like my muscle memory is constantly being challenged. HTH
