Is it possible to do cathe weights but not cardio?

I really dislike step. I used to do the firm, before I got pg and had a baby, but only did their weight tapes. I do other stuff for cardio. Could I move up to cathe weights without her step cardio?

Yes. Cardio and weights are two training protocols with two separate goals, and you do not have to do one to be able to do the other. If you have other cardio methods that work better for you than step, by all means do Cathe's weights only. However, it should be noted that Cathe has several other cardio formats in addition to step, in case you are wanting to check those out: hi/lo, athletic cardio drills (Boot Camp and Drill Max), kickbox.

Of course! I don't do step either, but did Cathe strength training for many years. I agree 100% with A-jock. Of course, it's important to do some kind of cardio, but it can be absolutely anything you enjoy.

I started with Pure Strength, but I believe you can start with almost any Cathe weight-training workout, because you can always adjust the heaviness of your weights. I HIGHLY recommend using no weight at all for lunges and some of the other lower body moves. Your body weight is more than enough if you are a beginner. Start the upper body exercises with VERY light weights, and then adjust accordingly.

Enjoy! :D

I don't see why not--I do the opposite, Cathe's cardio but not weights. I just pick & choose what works best with my routine.
