Internet Explorer Security Issues

If you use Microsoft's Internet Explorer - PLEASE READ!!!

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

This is a major concern to anyone using Internet Explorer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7784908.stm

Basically what the article is saying is that due to a security hole in the software, any information you type in to a website, including user names, passwords, credit cards, etc can be stolen fairly easily. There is supposed to be a patch out tomorrow, but I'm going to stick with Mozilla for a bit just to be sure the patch works.

Until there is a patch or a new upgrade, consider using another browser like Mozilla Firefox (down-loadable free at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/) or something. It may take a little to get used to the new browser, but it may save you a ton of grief.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I heard the very end of a news story about this issue but didn't catch the part where they said "Internet Explorer." I've already had to cancel two credit cards this year due to fraud, so I don't want any more problems!

Thanks for thinking of us!

(I'm writing this from a Firefox browser window!)

I will certainly agree with the use of Firefox. I have been using it for years instead of Internet Explorer and love it!!
