I have a question, how accurate do you think your hrm is? I have the polar f4, for women and I like it. I'm just wondering if my calorie burn is accurate. I only ask because this morning I did 55mins of Lomax and burned 630 calories and then after my stretch I was up to 700 calories. Do you think this is accurate? How much margin for error is there?

Hi Jenn. I have the Polar F4 as well and I love it.

I did LowMax last night and burned 633 calories as well. And I turned it off before the stretch.

From what I have read, they are pretty accurate. But I am interested to see what everyone else has to say.

Take care.

Hi Jenn. I also have the Polar F4. The last couple of times I did Low Max, I burned 511 calories and 451 calories.

I was at 631 before the stretch. I didn't turn it off because I wanted to see my recovery for my hr. It also stated I stayed in the zone for 15mins. Thanks for your input.

Jenn

As long as your HRM required you to enter your gender, height, weight and age...it's about as accurate as you are going to get (over the counter, that is).
