how embarassing...........

So my SIL is taking me hiking tomorrow. I haven't done that since I was a teen at camp. She lists the things I have to bring and do to prepare. One of them is find a fanny pack type purse. I have a purse that I had gotten from Popular for Christmas that does strap on like a fanny pack or you use a purse strap. I am so excited.............then I go to strap it around me.................and it is way too small. I don't care, I'm going to wear it like that anyway. I really want to hike. If I had known trails were this close I would have gone sooner. Something to look forward to doing when the kiddies start school in August. It's bleachers/track for me while they are out.

Where are you going tomorrow Heather??? Since moving here to AZ, my dh has really gotten the hiking bug. He goes out with a buddy of his almost every weekend. I love it too, but I have been working too many weekends lately. We even managed to drag the kids along a couple of times. It is so much fun, not to mention a great workout. We are lucky living here, there are so amny trails and parks! Tom is very partial to the Superstitions.....Bring plenty of water and wear suncreen!!

She won't tell me where we are going. She knew how excited I would be. I live at Signal Butte and Broadway. Have you guys done south mountain? We used to drive up there all the time when we were younger to do teenage things.;-) There were people actually running up it.

Yep, have been there a couple of times, brought the kids there this past December. The people running amaze me....I constantly have to watch where I am going....how on earth do they run?? The people who really blow me away are the mountain bikers, jumping over the boulders. You see tire tracks all over the place and wonder how on earth to you bike over that??? Not in a million years.....Have fun tomorrow!!
