How can you tell if a dvd is fake?

Hi all, Just quick question. I sold some dvds on amazon. Dvds that I had bought used, had no idea they were fake, just didn't want them so I resold them.

Well one person was particulary unhappy, first she sent back one, know she is returning the other. That is well and good but her emails were rude.

She says she contacted SNM and they claim these are fake. How do I tell if she is being honest or if was duped when I bought them?

Also should I refund her right away or wait til I recieve the dvd back. She says she will return it at her earliest convience.

I'm very bothered by this I wasn't trying to sell fakes and now I'm the bad guy.

They can tell by the lot number or the package covering or both. And, you should contact SNM too to verify it as well to protect yourself.
My parents were antique dealers, and from them, you learn what is real or not even if it's not old.
