Heart Rate Monitor

I just purchased a Heart Rate Monitor - Polar F6. There is so many different categories; cal., max HR, Avg. HR, Fat%, in-zone. I think that is it. What is the catergory that is most important that I should be focusing on to improve. Would it be the calories burn? and/or the amount of time I am in my zone? How long should I be in my zone to make the workout effective?

I caved yesterday and got one too! It is the pink one. I had a Polar many moons ago and this one was AWESOME! Wow! They have come a long way! Have you tried to upload/download info to it? I am a computer nerd, so I cannot wait! :)
 
I just received mine a week ago. I am still trying to figure out the my own zone. Did you set yours up yet? If so, how did you do it. I will figure the computer upload/download next.

For the OwnZone, follow the directions in the book which came with your monitor. It is really easy! Have fun!
