Wow, I can't believe I am starting the thread today!

How is everyone?

I am having some friends from work visiting Ella today during lunch, then I have my 6 week postpartum check up at 2. MIL is coming to watch Ella during my appointment b/c the wait is usually 3 hrs at the OB office. Can I say that I am actually looking to forward to just sitting around in the waiting room by myself and reading a book for a few hours. Bad mommy!

Yesterday I did one of my easy videos, 30 min of full body toning and my booty is sore today! I am so amazingly out of shape it is funny. Lunges with no weight is difficult now :(

I doubt I will be able to workout today unless I do a short workout when DH gets home. He should get home earlier than usual today so that might actually work. I am thinking of doing a Kathy Smith kickboxing video, much easier than Cathe kickboxing!
 
Hiya!!

LMAO!! I've been WAITING for someone -- ANYONE -- to start our thread today. Apparently I hate starting threads more than I hate cardio -- lol!!!

I did the 4DS leg workout for the first time last night (this is the workout I missed last week) and let me tell you -- it was hard! I take the blue ribbon for wimpy legs. It was painfully obvious last night that my failure to workout has had a devastating impact on my strength and endurance, and that Jari Love's leg workouts are E.A.S.Y compared to Cathe's, because I could do hers without skipping a beat. I actually got a little nauseated and couldn't do the planned core work. The sad thing is, 4DS legs is one of Cathe's easier workouts. It's a good thing I didn't attempt Leaner Legs or L&G :eek: . By the way, I love the band work in 4DS legs where you sit on the high step. that one got me good!!

I'm supposed to do a stretch or yoga today so I'm going to do Classical Stretch and throw in some cardio, too. DH and I are going out to dinner tonight. I looked at the menu online and I've already decided what I'm going to order. Hopefully this will deter me from ordering something I shouldn't }(

Diane -- good luck at your appointment. I can understand why you'd be looking forward to a few hours to yourself -- you won't get many of those anymore ;)

^5's for your workout -- and yeah -- I know what you mean. Apparently weighted lunges are too difficult for me, too, and I have no excuse for it except that I'm a lazy schmuck :p . Just hang in there and keep plugging away -- you'll get your old strength and body back ;)

Jen and Jennifer - I really appreciated your kind words last night. This is a tough week for my sister, so it's tough on me, too.

Jennifer -- I'll take your advice to heart. I'm so sorry that you had to endure the same pain, but seeing how you've bounced back is very reassuring.

Dana, August, Robin, and all -- hey youse!! I miss you :* :* :*
 
Hello Haters.
It's snowing here right now this minute!!!

And, someone drove up my driveay (eteep long hill) and turned around in my front yard, I have tire tracks over the top shelf of my hill.
Very frustrating. And, scary too. Living alone sometimes doesn't have the benefits. Spoke with my neighbours and none of them seen anything. Hope it's an isolated incident.

Daine-Hope everything goes well at the Docs.

Michele-Your sister is going to be fine-eventually. Make sure she doesn't do anything radical-like to get married again too soon. But, give time for yourself. Divorce Recovery is offered through mnay churches and civic groups where she can unload there too.
