Good mor...er...afternoon

,
I'm ROTFLMAO at Diane starting the thread today :7 . Believe it or not, I tried to start it about 3 times but gave up after several interruptions. x(
I've been trying to stay on track with my diet and exercise so I've been posting in the "10# meltdown" challenge thread. I'm pretty pleased with myself. I've only lost 2 pounds since I started the challenge (this is the 3rd week), but I had already lost 2 or 3 #'s before starting, so I'm satisfied that my weight is going in the right direction. Where I'm really pleased with myself is in the exercise department. I'm in my 7th week of consistent exercise and I've only missed ONE scheduled workout in all this time! Today is a rest day but I'm planning to do cardio.
I've been doing some heavy duty cleaning. I have someone coming over tomorrow to measure my family room for carpet, the trouble is, I can't decide what kind/color I want. The carpet I'm replacing is a nylon sisal and I really like that flat, clean look, but DH wants something a little more cushy. I really hate plush carpets, and I don't care for that shaggy looking stuff that's popular now either. Decisions, decisions. What do you guys like? I used to have a fantastic decorator but she retired and I could sure use her advice now ;( . There's a decorator at the flooring place but she's, well, decoratory -- LMAO!! I know that must seem like an odd complaint, but I don't like it when everything looks all matched and perfect. I prefer things to look like a collection that I've acquired over time. Oh, I don't know how to explain it -- but I prefer a period look -- 18th to early 19th century, to be exact. HELP!!!!!
Diane - Ella is so cute and the best dressed baby I've ever seen

. Thanks so much for posting pictures!
^5's for getting back into your workouts! I couldn't help but laugh a little bit about you exercising on the floor next to Ella's crib :7 , but that's an excellent idea! You're doing really well getting the baby weight off, too! Good luck with WW and with your 6 week check up. Let us know how it goes.
August - I think I just saw August fly by -- LMAO!! Hey you, come and play when you get that break, K? We miss you!
Jennifer - I hope all goes well with your dad's check up. I posted in your thread in the OD forum and your concerns head my prayer list.
Jen - What's going on with you today?
Dana - I hope things are settling down for you. I honestly didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I read your post yesterday, but the really GREAT thing about you is your ability to find humor in your circumstances. That is a really good and healthy way of dealing with stress. It sounds like you're doing everything exactly right with dear little Gabe, and please know that I am praying like crazy about it. :*
Robin - I saw that -- you get back on that wagon this minute!!! I don't know what on EARTH I'm going to do with you and Shelley
I better sign off here. I'm climbing Mt Washmore and I have another load to fold. I'll BBL if I can

:*
