Good morning!
I thought I would try cutting out the salt to the Pumpkin Pinto Stew. I recommend leaving it in. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/rolleyes010.gif
I sure love this stew! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/eatdrink022.gif
I'm now in the stages of my cold where I can't swallow the phlegm in the back of my throat. It's driving me nuts. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/rolleyes006.gif
I knew you guys wanted to know that.
I've got a work-filled weekend (nothing rough though, mostly sitting on my butt telling people what to do http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/rolleyes005.gif ) and should be ready enough to start up on my workouts from Monday.
I don't know if you guys remember me talking about this before, but through the year during periods of months, I'll have a big project to do. I'll be starting that on Monday, too. Actually I was supposed to be working on that from the beginning of the year and HAVEN'T. I mean, I've TRIED, but have not made ANY progress. (Shhhh, don't talk about it, it will stress little August out LOL.)
So the long and short of it is, I'll be at home A TON! YIPPEE!
Workouts! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/bounce002.gif
Hatersville! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/bounce017.gif
Kitties! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/bounce020.gif
Er, I mean, writing. Yes, writing. http://bestsmileys.com/blushing/7.gif
MICHELE - Hate Michele?! LOL. Did your DH get better? Were you able to have a nice, peaceful bday cozied up on the sofa? Anyway, I hope you had a wonderful celebration.
>I WANTED to but I hurt my baby toe...no really, I did
Oh yeah, hate it when my baby toe prevents me from working out ;-) . LOL! How is the Princess today? Is her head smaller and less painful to the touch?
>Have the quakes stopped?
Unfortunately, no. There was another one this morning. This season always brings earth belches. And dry skin. I've got dry skin.
>I have a rare and bizarre autoimmune disease
Ohhh, THAT's what the eye talk was! Yes, I remember your cool eyes. I would love to have one blue and one green. How awesome! I'm glad to read that it's just your regular checkup and that nothing suddenly happened.
>I have not yet tried Cardioke, in fact, I forgot I had it
LMAO. Well, I'm VERY surprised by that. http://bestsmileys.com/lol/10.gif
>OMG!! My sister just called me from work and she had her 5th grade students sing Happy Birthday!!! ROTFLMAO!! OMG it was so cute!
Oh, how cute! What a nice birthday that must have been. I have a jazz trumpet friend in New York who called me and without saying anything, just started blowing his horn to the bday song. It was totally cool!
SHANNON -
>But they say that when the fault goes, it's gonna be a doozy.
Don't you just love news like that? Like, what are you going to do with that information? Like I need to know there's the possibility of a mongo earthquake in Tokyo? Uhck.
>Augie, if it wasn't for the fact that you're a cardio hater, I think we'd get along just fine.
I wholeheartedly agree! But I am a bullet walker. That gives me "some" cardio points maybe?
JENNIFER -
>I;m going to celebrate with KPC.
I totally read that you were going to celebrate Michele's birthday with KFC! LOL. Give my hugs to the babies!
ROBIN -
>I made it for dinner and really liked it. DH said he'd eat it again if he had to. Men!
LMAO! I'm going to check it out now. I hope it doesn't have meat in the recipe. And I hope it doesn't call for an oven. Or for more than one bowl.
>I can't imagine waking up to find an earthquake going on
Yeah, experiencing an earthquake in bed is no thrill, let me tell you. My first thought is, "Is this the one?" and my second thought is, "Should I get my bra?"
>This morning, right after breakfast, Frank ran into the open and peed right in the middle of the floor.
LMAO! It's like one giant litter box for Frank! Hey, have you tried Nature's Miracle spray? It's supposed to be really good for taking stains out and for zapping the smell so that kitty won't go in the same stinky spot. Mooch threw up in two spots the other day and I used it there and the smell is gone. Of course my carpet is dirty, so spraying and cleaning the two spots made those two spots CLEAN, so now they stick out because they're the only clean spots on the carpet.
Man, I would love hard flooring instead of carpet.
JEN - Wow, you're still under the weather? I wish there was something I could do. Has Chad been wanting to play doctor? I mean taking care of you, of course. I mean, in a, well, you know what I mean. It sounds like the kitties are all getting along, though? That must be so rewarding to see. I hope the kitty shots go okay! And I hope you get all the way better immediately!
Since I seem to be better and not contagious, I will be having someone come over to my place to work today so I'd better do something about all the garbage. Oh no, wait, those are cats! LOL. No, no, I mean about the garbage I've got out for the cats. And I suppose I should scrub my bathroom, too.
Have a nice day!
And if Diane is lurking around, Happy Birthday to you!
