Cathlete
Morn!

I'm typing to you via dining chair and table. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/happy019.gif

However, I was crying earlier this morning http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sad045.gif --- from choppin' up the onion for my SLOOPY JOES A LA MICHELE! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/laughing021.gif

YOO HOOO! SLOOPY!

But I forgot to buy olive oil. I hope that's not the main point of the recipe. I also looked at the recipe and it said 3 cups water, and I proceeded to use the empty tomato can to get the extra tomato out...but without thinking, I didn't measure the water and then my brain was saying 3 cups of water...3 cups of water....3 cans of water...3 cans of...WAIT! I'd put in two cans of water which I think was a little bit more than needed. I tried to take some out. LOL.

While I was at work last night, my mom called desperate because Yoyo wouldn't stop meowling and it was driving her insane. http://bestsmileys.com/doh/1.gif Really, really, really, really, really fortunately, it happened that my brother was going to be dropping by to have dinner with her, so I called him up and asked him to see how things were when he got there and if really necessary, to bring Yoyo and Lulu to my place.

I guess it's not hard to guess that I have all four squirrels again. But it was a much longer time this round for Yoyo to start up again, so that's a good sign. Mom's coming over tonight for Sloopys and then I'll suggest she takes her guys back home with her. Keep your fingers crossed.

Lulu always wakes up at 5:30am or so hyper as all he!!. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/ad/insomnia.gif

Wait, I've really got to get my butt going here. I finished up S&H tris and bis and am now off to do more work.

MICHELE - Good for you for doing your workout! Yay! And I'm so glad to hear you had a wonderful Easter.

>Mom and pop are FAMOUS for calling me in the 11th
>hour with a laundry list of stuff they want or need help with
>http://www.kidcorral.ca/forum/images/smilies/drowning.gif

LMAO! I love that emoticon.

>OH! I lost a couple of pounds!! It must be all the beans and lentils I've been eating

Bring it on!! I've been really enjoying having leftover beans/lentil soups in my fridge. Ooh, I can't wait for me and Mom to get down and Sloopy!

Anyway, good luck with all those siblings.

DANA - Oooh, cake in the freezer. http://bestsmileys.com/blushing/6.gif Cake.

>Michele - yeah for the weight loss!!!!! It must be the magic SLOOPY JOE's. If that is the case, then I NEED to make them.

I'll tell you if I lose weight tomorrow. LOL.

Oooh, mud! Fun!

SHANNON - All right, you know the questions : Do you have a proper work chair? Is your computer screen at eye level? Is your type board at the appropriate height? Is the light on your screen good? What is your favorite kind of cake in the freezer? Is your mouse working properly?

Whatever it is, I hope you're feeling better.

>Chocolate brownies with chocolate chips in them, and topped with fudgy frosting.

Don't you even make me swear. Don't do it.

http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/sign/sign0027.gif Oh gawd, now the image of that brownie is going to be haunting me all dang day.

> you have chairs????? Oh boy. I need to go back to the weekend thread and find out more. What do the squirrels think?

Yes, I'm proud to say that after living in my apartment for five years, I've finally decided that having something to sit on would be a nice addition to the comforts of home.

The squirrels have sniffed them out a bunch, but to my surprise haven't spent any time ON them at all. It's quite suspicious actually.

JENNIFER - Hi there, glad to hear you're surviving your snow, and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your day off!

My dining chairs actually came in one humongo box and I was going to throw it away but then I realized the squirrels were having such fun running in and out of it. I put the box at my entrance and because of a step there, and because it's so big, it has to sit at sort of an angle tilted, which they seem to love. They'll run and slide in all the way to the back and then scramble out, run around and then run back to slide LOL. I put some toys inside and cut out a little window (lots of paw action with that and it was totally cute), and I also put a hole in the top and hung a feather toy inside. It's so great. That alone was worth the getting of the chairs LOL.

Well, that and now I can SIT.

Okay, I'm off to work even though I feel a nap on the horizon (I've been up since Lulu got up for her early morning hyper activities. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/ad/insomnia.gif )

Okay, see you guys later! :D

Hello Haters.

Tonight it's BMX2 for me. With all the calories and fat from the Holiday, I'm going for it once again.

August-all this talk of food makes me hungry and I just ate breakfast. You're a good Mommy for keeping the box.

Tonight, I will check in after my workout.

Hope you all have a Great Day!

Mornin', Haters -

I might as well get this out of the way so you can throw things at me and get it over with. I did Imax 3 and it was pretty fun! So there. :p It wasn't as fun as it usually is because I had to modify quite a bit, but it was a very nice change from all the low impact routines.

August - I just love picturing your squirrels playing in that box! You are such a good "mommy." Are the visiting squirrels gone yet? As for my desk setup, I am doing the best I can - everything is at the proper level, good lighting, etc. I just got a new keyboard tray that has a sliding mouse platform. I hope this helps, because a lot of the problem seems to come from holding my arm out to the side when I'm mousing.

Dana - your question yesterday - I'm a writer and do a lot of work on stuff for Medicare and Medicaid patients - educational brochures, newsletters, etc.

Jennifer - enjoy BM2. I love that one, especially the cardio only premix! }(

Wow, nighttime comes fast when you're up at the crack of dawn. x(

I can't hardly keep my eyes open. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/indifferent/indifferent0025.gif

Anyway!

The Sloop! It was so nice! And it went great with the cheesy bread Mom and I got at the bakery the other day. I had two bowls and felt really satisfied! I kept thinking it would taste so great with feta cheese in it. :9

I have the suspicion that Mom was snacking before coming up for dinner. She kept reassuring me it was good, but she only ate a small bowl full. But I know it wasn't the Sloopy because the woman who is a bread FIEND, didn't even eat much of that. I know she was snackin in the privacy of her apartment! }(

Oh man, I might have to go to bed soon. But...but I've got to work............I was very productive today (as evidence by my posting LOL)......but I've still got one big project I have to START and FINISH.

http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/sign/sign0085.gif

Maybe I'll wash my face and see what happens.

ETA : OOH! Shannon! We were posting at the same time!

Yes, yes, Yoyo and Lulu went home with Mom, so keep your fingers crossed Yoyo was able to get his Meowling funk out while he was here running in and out of the box.

The box is huge you guys. I mean, picture two dining chairs on top of each other and then put a cardboard box around them. That's how big it is. And there's very little space to go in and out of my front door. I'm guessing it's sort of a fire hazard LOL.

> a lot of the problem seems to come from holding my arm out to the side when I'm mousing.

Ah yes, the THIS-IS-MY-ROBOT-ARMdenitis. That can cause major ache. Ooh, a sliding mouse tray. That sounds very cool.

There are also mouses that don't slide around but use a ball instead,..so all you do is move your finger. Have you looked at those, too?

Wait. Did....did you write something about Imax 3? No. No. I didn't read that. I didn't read that.

:*

ETA - SHANNON : Have you tried something like this?

http://www.calibex.com/Kensington-PS-2-USB-55417674/cb2/prices-html

or this

http://www.calibex.com/Kensington-Expert-PS-2-57913001/cb2/prices-html

I work with music engineers and everyone uses these type. Actually, they all use one that is similar but not these ones...but I can't find a photo of it anywhere. It's more of a ball that sticks out and up so that it's very easy to use. The links I gave you here are just examples and are actually not good (but probably better than a mouse that you have to move all over your desk). If you're interested in the one everyone I work with uses, I can find out though so let me know!

Okay, now I've really got to wash my face. :D

Hi! Hi everybody!!

I've had a busy morning and now I've got a few emails I NEED to answer. I just had to stop in for a sec to say hello and to ROTFLMAO at August's Sloopy updates http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/laughing021.gif

I had my sloop with ched :9

Except when I tossed it with pasta -- then I had it with fresh grated Romano or Parmesan cheese -- can't remember which.

Oh yes, Cuz -- try the mouse August posted! I might get one like that for my tennis elbow. Nothing bothers my elbow quite like using the mouse. Augie -- please find out THE mouse your engineers use, kay!? :*

I'll BBL :*

P.S. IMAX 3!? http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/shocked034.gif
