GOOD MORNING! http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/sun.gif
I'M HOME!!
I had some put-on-clothing work scheduled for today but I just got an email telling me it's been postponed. So instead of doing work at home, I'm declaring today SPARE OFF DAY! Woo hoo!
http://www.pic4ever.com/images/connie_1.gif
Yesterday I had a big meeting, and the big October project that I've been fretting about has been postponed to the beginning of December. Woo hoo! I just earned two free months! (Or two more months of suffering, depending on how you look at it http://www.pic4ever.com/images/gigglesmile.gif .)
So anyway, I don't know why, but I had a bunch of really good aha moments while I was on my trip...
Before I left, I had a couple blowouts with Mom (always a nice way to start off on a business trip) and was just feeling sort of worn out and ugg.....and LMAO, would you believe it, I arrive in my destination to a freakin massive rain storm. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/4076.gif
But something....I don't know what it was...be it the breakfast donuts I ate at Mr. Donuts near the hotel, or be it the breakfast donuts I ate at the Mr. Donuts near the hotel the following day http://tools.digeratimarketing.co.uk/content/lb/smile/innocent/innocent0009.gif but I ended up getting some really good thinking done and got a ton of positive energy and got recharged during my trip.
I returned to Tokyo....and what greets me here? The freakin rain storm LMAO! http://www.pic4ever.com/images/4076.gif
But it was followed by 2 extra writing months, a free spare off day today, and......and....and..........you guys ---
http://www.pic4ever.com/images/241.gif
...the storm broke and I unpacked and visited with the squirrels, got a good night's rest, woke to a sunny morning...........and....and.......... two teeny birdies on my balcony, pecking the seed that had fallen onto the cement floor!
I pretty much cried, it was just so wonderful. http://mysmileyz.com/s/195.gif http://mysmileyz.com/s/195.gif
http://www.pic4ever.com/images/greenstars.gif
Needless to say, I scattered more seed onto the ground of my balcony. They haven't come back. But at least I know two of them know where they can come to eat!

SHANNON - Yeah, my elliptical choices are pretty poor, aren't they. Nothing screams "Buy me and crowd your apartment more!"
>I have arthritis in my thumb
That's somehow kind of cute. Does this prevent you from lots of things like pen holding? Maybe even remote control channel switching? http://tools.digeratimarketing.co.uk/content/lb/smile/winking/winking0011.gif
MICHELE - Glad to hear your DH's tests are all done. When do the test results come in?
>it was filled with over a liter of yucky fluid.
Wow, that's amazing. I'm glad to hear that the surgery went well, but how scary about the allergic reaction to something. How horrible!
I'll be sending you and her good vibes. I'll also be sending some to the family who's child was recently diagnosed with the illness you mentioned. How awful.
>I hit my CC spot yesterday, or did I already tell you that -- LMAO!!
http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/angry051.gif
>why don't you look for a new and bigger apartment that allows kitties and has plenty of room for an elliptical and a...a stove or something!?
LMAO. Yeah, a stove. But actually, it turns out that there really are no ovens in Japan as a whole. Most people have to buy ovens that look like big microwaves. Yeah. I asked.
Good gawd, you have family in town for 2 weeks?! I'm sending very good vibes to you.
DIANE - Hey! Thanks for posting those nice photos! Wow, look at those blue eyes!
DANA -
>how in the world do you workout with out workout shoes??? Do you do your step barefoot?
Hold on, hold on, you and Robin! Sheesh! Of course I have INDOOR workout shoes. I wonder if I could try out my CC walking a la Leslie-Style?
Hey, congrats on trying a new morning schedule. That takes some gumption, 5am! Good for you!
Oh, I wish and hope that you can adopt Alice. I think she's adorable. I'll bet Gabe would love her and take good care of her. It would be so great for him! Would your DH consider it if he knew how much Gabe loves her?
>Yesterday I bought my boys some clothes at JCPenney and when I was unpacking the bag, guess what was in there? The stapler that the cashier uses. HTH did I end up with that? Hey, we don't have a stapler on our desk so I guess I have one now huh???
OMG, LMAO!!!
>"Mom, can't you just let it go already??"
Baha!
>I am RESTARTING WW tomorrow.
That's great! Talk about your yummy healthy foods to inspire us (me). I always like to read about what you're eating. It really does inspire.
By the way, Dana, that was a wonderful thing you did for that young boy who had a meltdown on the field. I'll bet he'll remember that day even after he's an adult.
>Michele, I'm dying here, my friend just sent me an e-mail about some stuff she bought at a yardsale and ya wanna know what she bought? A BOWEL TO PUT SOUP IN. Wonder if that was from the same set you own? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, LMAO!!!!!!
ROBIN -
>How the heck do you bullet walk in mules? Mine would get kicked off and hit some unsupecting pedestrian in the head.
That's part of the "bullet" part of my walk. Never know when I might get trigger happy and let one fly! I mean a mule, of course.
Woo hoo! Congrats on your new fridge!
Cool vinyl jacket. Ooh, I bet your DH has a fortune in vinyl there.
JENNIFER - Welcome home! So it was a great trip? YAY!! More details! More details!
>My face is breaking out due to nerves
Don't you just love that? You'd think you grow out of that when you get to be an adult but no-hoo. I hope your vacation time got you some good rest and skin-healing time.
JEN - Hey, how you doing? I know you've been having a rough time. Is your throat better? And poor little Storm! I wonder what she did to hurt her leggy! You must have been a wreck!
Okay. I'm off to play with the squirrels some and then I've got to water some flowers now in Nintendo Land.
Have a wonderful day all! http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/flowerysmile.gif
