Mooooo! Mooooo! Mooooorning! http://planetsmilies.net/happy-smiley-65.gif

I just finished working my arms with Tamilee and am now getting ready to meet Mom for lunch and a MUCH needed trip to the grocery store.

Cham and Mooch were napping when I started my arm workout, but as you can imagine, they were soon awake with all my moving around. In fact, during my warmup, Mooch suddenly woke up, looked at me with sleepy eyes and then ran directly up to me and sat down in front of me to watch me swing my arms left and right LOL.

And when I was doing bicep curls, Cham kept her eyes on the dumbbell : up two, down two, up two, down two. It was hilarious. I kept having to move slightly so as to have plenty of room for the weight to go down.

Okay, I'm late for my date! It's fish today! Woo hoo!

Smugs to you all!

DANA - I don't have PP but I'm wishing I had it right now for an alternative to BS, LOL. Were you able to squeeze in anything on our first day back on rotation? I started mine off pleasantly with an abs and a stretch and a fifteen minute speed-walk.

You know, didn't want to alarm the squirrels.

To answer your and Shelley's question, the little guys kept their distance and looked at me the whole time like WTH are you doing? After the initial newness of it wore off, then they would look straight at me and yawn, which totally cracked me up. But when I started waving the fitness ball around (for abs) they weren't pleased one bit.

Anyway, I hope you were able to fit in something, but take it a bit easy for Aunt Flo. She only likes to exercise when she's really in the mood, after all.

Hey, how's Ralphie doing?

JENNIFER - Yikes! Was anyone around when the porch overhang decided to make a run for it? It must have made quite a thud. You're rebuilding it yourself or someone is coming to do it?

What's this Michele mentioned about your father having had surgery? I send you and your family my very best wishes.....Oh, I'm just reading your second post. Wow, lots of stuff going on over there for your family. I'm glad to read that everyone is doing well, albeit having to adjust some things.

Are you walking at a particularly faster pace than usual to get good results walking?

MICHELEY BELLY - I'm so glad to hear that you didn't mildew over! Welcome back. Did DH have a great time?

The squirrels are being as silly as ever and turned 10 weeks yesterday. I think they look bigger. I guess they'd better look bigger LOL! And they're much better about understanding how much pounce they need to get up onto things. Ah, but with this new maturity, the games that used to completely get them freaked out about a week ago are so passe now LOL.

But when they're calm (about 2 minutes a day - just as they're getting sleepy LMAO), I'll pet and caress them and the loudest PURRRRRR will roll out and it turns me to jelly.

Then they move away to get some space LMAO.

SHELLEY - Urgh, the dreaded summer cold. What is up with that? How can those nasty bugs be flying around in the heat, anyway? Aren't they supposed to be hibernating and getting strong for the winter? I hope you feel all the way better very soon.

Yeah, that plastic bag over your head thing to regulate the breathing is new to me, too. I wasn't there, but apparently she started gasping for air and started to panic, so her friend went into action, grabbed a plastic bag and put it over her head. My work partner said it looked like something out of Twin Peaks LOL. The girl started breathing in the plastic bag and because this limited her supply of oxygen (she was taking in too much hyperventilating), her breathing started to get back to normal. My Gawd. She said until things had gotten back to normal, that when she took the plastic bag away, she'd start gasping again. Weird.

The squirrels obviously haven't been exposed to many workouts LOL. Yeah, they've been here two weeks, I know. But they're more open to new stuff now. I know I did a few weight workouts at the beginning, but they were tucked away under the bed or sleeping through most of those.

ROBIN - LOL at you! I read an article about the French diet which claims that wine doesn't stick if it's eaten with cheese. I sure hope you managed to get in some cheese. Or at least some cheesy dip.

JEN - Hey there, wow, the food thing is taking a long time. Do you often have this change in the summers? Do we need to start worrying? Don't make us start worrying. You know how irritating we can become LOL.

Have a great day, everybody!

Good Morning Haters, Hi August!!

I've been on vacation and just got back a couple days ago !
We went to Hilton Head and had a blast !
Walked on the beach every day, played in the water, sat in the sun, shopped, ate....... ahhhhhhhh!!

Yesterday was our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a great day. Went out to eat seafood (I guess we didn't have enough down south! ha) and then to see Harry Potter. In the morning I went to the county fair with my mom & dad !!! Just a fun, goof-off day! I wish I had more of those !

I know I don't know what's going on anymore......but August it looks like you got some kitty cats!!!!!!!:7 :7 :7 Don't you just love them? Aren't they characters? My cat is nuts but also very smart and funny.

Well, it's time for me to workoff yesterdays Salmon with Lobstermeat & shrimp in a butter sauce , dirty rice and banana pudding!!!:9
Yes, I ate bad, but it was ooooooohhhhh soooooooooo good !;) :9 :9

Take care everyone, I'll try to pop back on later in the day and see what everyone's up to .

Becky

Hello Haters.

THe porch overhang is being done by some friends of mine, one is an engineer and plus he does home improvement on the side.
My Dad is doing well, my sister is now home from the hospital. Take one day at a time and see what happens.

Hilton Head is a beautiful place, I've been there.

This morning, Seville dumped over my alarm clock. I'm trying to remind them to stay off the counter and to sit on the stool, Seville did well. Madrid is another story.

Have a Great Day-looks like rain here.

Morning haters!

Just running in to say hi and to also pass along greetings from Michele, who is having trouble with the typing thing because of her elbow, but she hopes to be back here soon to get her hate on!

Gotta jet.

Hey everybody!

Shelley, thanks for passing my message along. Yes, my elbow is still in sorry shape, but not to worry -- it's much better than it was a week ago. I think lying low in the MMGHH really helped it -- that, and the massages I've been doing with a tennis ball. I'm going to take it easy for the time being and let this thing heal, but I am lurking so I expect to be entertained, kay!? :p :7 I miss you crazy haters:*

P.S. I think all that Amish fried food probably helped, too:eek: }( :D :9

I forgot tot mention that the MMGHH is in the heart of Amish country and the breaded pork tenderloin capitol of the world.;)

Afternoon haters! Just got back from a 2-mile walk, ate my lunch and thought I'd say hi before I get back to working!

Aug - yesterday I did 3/4 of PowerStrike 3. I took Gannon down the basement with me and when I turned on the DVD player before I even had a chance to put in a DVD, PowerStrike was already on the tv, so I figured I'd just do that one. I was over 1/2 way through, ready to do the combos on the right side when I noticed that Gannon found a ride on toy that he should not be playing on by himself. It was one of those bouncy horses that is about 2 feet off the ground. I could just see him falling off of it and hitting his head off the concrete floor. So I called my workout quits and let him play on the horsey. Tonight I"m going to do some kind of weights. Not sure what. Ralphie isn't doing any better with the mange. He looks horrible. He goes for his 2nd dip on Friday. I"ve heard it can take months for this to clear up. Poor baby. At least your kitties just observed your workout. Just wait til they are in the way. You just wait!:)

Becky - HEY!!! Welcome back from vacation. It sounds like you had a great time. And happy belated 25th anniversary!

Michele - hello!!!!! No, I did not know that where you went was the Breaded Porkchop Capital USA. How many of those buggers did you eat??? My mom makes a pretty mean breaded pork chop. LOL Sounds like you really did something to that elbow. What game were you playing when you did the damage?

Hi Robin!!!! I hope you are enjoying your vacation.

Jen - I"m going to quote what August said, "Do we need to start worrying about you?????" Sheesh woman!!!! Do we need to have Michele throw a pork chop over your way????

Jennifer - sorry to hear about your family. Hope everyone is doing better soon.

Shelley - HEY to you, just incase you decide to run in here again.

Ladies, ladies, ladies, I have some EXCITING news for you. Now that I have your attention, here is the breaking news that I know you are all dying to hear. Are you on the edges of your seats???? Here goes . . . I am ALL done with my filing. I filed for SEVEN hours yesterday and I am done!!!!! Where is Robin with the wine and cheese??? It is time to celebrate!!!

OK, now I guess I should get back to work. I still have a ton to do, just not filing.

Hi ladies -

I was feeling sick yesterday for most of the day so didn't go to work. I am so happy to be done with one of my big projects, but still have several left to complete this week. So this will be another super busy week but I am just too tired to get any work done! I am ready to go home and go to bed.

But after I finish these projects (I am planning on turning in at the end of the week) I should have a better week next week I think.

Anyway, sorry to just babble about myself, I am sorta out of it and need some coffee!
