http://www.pic4ever.com/images/balloons.gif Morning!
Last night after I posted the link to my Golden Sundae, I washed up and then got into bed so here it is the next day!
For some reason I felt like doing Willpower & Grace this morning. It uses no equipment and you don't even need to wear shoes, and you know how I feel about that! http://bestsmileys.com/blushing/3.gif I hardly ever do that DVD because it's almost all squatting and is really tough, but I just really needed to do something different.
Then I immediately followed it with the same smoothie I always have. http://bestsmileys.com/blushing/7.gif
JENNIFER - I'll bet your yard is going to look so beautiful! That's so nice that it worked out like that with your friend needing to get rid of those two items and you wanting to take them.
>so, was it worth it? How much would it cost to make the sundae at home?
How much would it cost to make it at home? If I got the mango at the cheap market, I guess it would cost me a buck for the ice cream and maybe 5 bucks for a mango (yeah, that's at the cheap store -- fruit is expensive over here).
Was my $30 mango sundae worth it? Heck yeah! I'll be telling that story for years! LOL. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/4fvgdaq_th.gif
>His name is Troy.
Wow....Troy! I've never met anyone named Troy before. It sounds so... Movie-ish! We want the details! Muwahaha!
DANA -
>OMG, $30 for a sundae????? I'm speechless. I should move to Japan for weightloss.
LMAO!!
>As for the pm detox, if you are taking a laxative, wouldn't you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night????
No kidding! That's like one of the last kinds of drinks I would recommend as a bedtime snack LOL.
But really, wouldn't drinking that kind of thing every night put you in a state of dehydration?
A hot-air balloon ride! Did you once write that you were doing that? Or was that Robin? Anyway, wow, that will be really cool, no matter how high up you guys are going.
ROBIN -
>I have visions of smashing one through the drywall on the ceiling.
LMAO! That would truly be hysterical. I have a choice of either a 4kg kettlebell or an 8kg kettlebell, and the people who responded in my OD question are telling me to go for the 8kg one. That would surely make quite the hole in my ceiling (or floor) if I didn't do the exercises correctly.
I think you need to get the DVD though. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/14k8gag.gif
MICHELE - Oh you poor thing, I wish I could be there to help you out with all the things you're doing. It really sounds like you're in pain, and I know there are so many things going on over there that you need to take care of. If there IS something I or we could possibly do, please don't hesitate to ask.
>$30 for a sundae!!! That's outrageous!! OTOH, it is just play money, right?
You are so right! That's the great thing about foreign currency. It's like Monopoly money, even after all these years.
>I'm not sure I know what you mean about the kettlebell handles. I think the handles are square on all of them, aren't they? I was more concerned about the handles being smooth than I am about them being square -- LMAO!
Really? All the ones I saw looked round to me. Are they all square? When you lift the kettlebell up, doesn't the handle move around in your grip?
Well, anyway, those red ones are $100 (approximately 3 sundaes LOL), so if I were going to get those, I may as well get the ones I like from the States and have them sent.
And you're so sweet to offer to send a kettlebell to me. I'm still waiting for the store to call me back about whether or not they can find 5kg or 6kg ones. Did you see the responses I got to go for the 8kg? OMG. So now I'm thinking to go for the 8kg. I wonder if I can lift that above my head. Am I going to totally put myself into the hospital?
Speaking of that thread, did you see the great link Jess posted on how to choose the size of kettlebell?
I didn't see about not using gloves (not that I have any). I did notice that people were talking about using wrist guards, though. The ones I'd get here aren't covered in rubber. Ahhh, why is Japan so behind the times when it comes to kettlebells? LOL.
Okay. I'm off to do stuff (a.k.a. Work). http://www.pic4ever.com/images/reading.gif
Have a great day and chat with you laters! :*
