Hi haters!
Jennifer - are you serious, you've got snow??? I hope that doesn't deter any plans that you had for today? That would seriosly suck if you have a day off of work and are snowed in. Anyway, enjoy your day off!!! You deserve it!!!
What is up with the rest of you haters today? I've got a busy day. I just baked my coconut cake for Easter dinner. In a bit I'm going to make a very easy cherry cheese pie too - then dessert is done for Sunday! I've got laundry to do, sweep mop the floor and wash the dishes. I'll do my major cleaning tomorrow. Then me and the boys are going to the recycle center, to the bank, dropping some stuff off at the Salvation Army, going for groceries, to Wal-Mart and then for lunch at my parent's restaurant. My dad makes the best mac & cheese w/stewed tomatoes.
I better get going if I expect to get out of the house!

Anyway, I just found out (x( ) that DH has to work this weekend, and now I have to plan out, shop for, and prepare Easter dinner for DH's parents. I wasn't planning on things working out quite like this x(
Jennifer -- I hope the snowy forecast is some big mistake. I always thought it was supposed to rain on Good Friday -- lol! It's gloomy and dreary here, but I haven't even looked at the weather report, so I have no idea what we're in for. We've had quite a bit of rain, but no major flooding. What will you be doing for Easter?
Dana, OMG I want some of that cake!! I LOVE cake -- any kind of cake. I could eat cake every single day :9 . I don't bake very often, thank goodness! Nothing I bake ever turns out right, so I just buy single serving baked goods at the grocery store which is MUCH better for my waistline . It sounds like you have a crazy day in store. Are you off for the week or just the weekend? My sister's last day of school was yesterday and she doesn't have to go back until a week from Monday.
I haven't read all of yesterday's thread yet -- I had kind of a busy couple of days, not to mention I wasn't feeling well, but I'm better now and I don't have that wonky feeling in my tummy anymore. I still have a cough, though, but it's not too bad -- it's just a cold.
Well, I need to call my FIL and see what he wants for Easter dinner. I have to call my sister and brother, too. I'll BBL though :*

visit my parents but they're traveling today to see my brother
and his family. But, my plans were either South Haven or Downriver Detroit. Didn't want to get caught in either place with snow today.
Dana-cake sounds good, this is my eating weekend so I can do this.

Sorry I know I am never here anymore. Just busy lately. My grandmother died and then we had some work done on the house, lots of visitors every weekend and so on. I just haven't been on the internet much, Ella keeps me busy.

Michele - Sorry your DH has to work, that really stinks to have to do that on your own.
For Easter my parents are coming in and staying with us and we are doing Easter at our house with my parents and inlaws. Should be okay. I am just tired of people being here from out of town, like 5 weeks in a row. Ready for a "normal" weekend.
I started finally doing Cathe workouts again. I did Muscle Max the other day and today I did Pyramids premix that includes both upper and lower body. I am so out of shape, doing 1/2 the weight as Cathe. And man did I have major DOMS after Muscle Max. But I am going to have to get into a swimsuit this summer so I guess I have to get back in shape at some point. Ella is almost 6 months old, I don't have any excuses anymore.

That pink chair she's sitting in, we use the green one at church.
