HATE - Apr 17

August

Cathlete
I hate to start off our thread with such a lackluster, impersonal post, but I absolutely HAD to come by to tell you all that I'm still of the living LOL and that I miss you guys so much!!

I was only able to quickly read posts but I got this :

Shopping, birthdays, raises! Wooo hooOOoOooOooOooo!

GOOD THINGS! YAY!

I got so busy (no duh) and got to the point yesterday at work that I'd shut my eyes to listen to something and jolt to find that I'd done one of them little micro-sleeps.

Where is my April going? When I told you I'd gotten booked up, I didn't realize I'd be quite THIS booked up. The rest of this month is going to be sporadic for me, but I'll do my best to just swing by and post stupid little things.

;-)

Big hugs to you and I SHALL RETURN! Muwahahahaa!

P.S. Dana - yes, the train rush in Japan during rush-hour is absolutely disgusting. That video is a pretty extreme one, but it's not a lie at all.

Hello Auggie and Michele, and Haters to Follow.

Have a Great Spring Day!!

Life is good, my review was great, and the extra funds will be helpful this weekend. Lots of stuff to buy for the house like grass seed, pesticide or maneur, and root drain cleaner. City garbage bags are a major rip off here too.

Sat my workout will be KM over BM2 this time.

BBL

Hi haters. Gotta make this quick but I'll try to BBL.

HI Aug!!! I miss you!!!!

Jennifer - kudos to you for your great review & raise. I bet it feels good to know that you are appreciated.

Michele - awww, you'll get your strength back. Guess that is why we shouldn't focus too much on one thing. I tend to do weight work more (duh since I HATE cardio) and my cardio endurance sucks!!!

Listen to how weird this is. I had a dream last night that one of the teachers brought a new student over to our office b/c the boy wanted to register at school but he already had a GED. Not too weird of a dream but . . . this a.m. when I got here, the HS principal said that this woman was trying to register her daugher but she already had a GED. Deja Vu!!!!!!

Yesterday's workout was a 6.5 mile walk.

Gotta go!!!! Hey to all they "haters" :)

Hiya!!

Jennifer -- yea for spring days and great evaluations, and big raises!! You deserve them all!

Dana -- Who knew you were a prophet!? -- LMAO!! That is very strange, though. Just out of curiosity, how often do you get students who want to register even though they have a GED? I mean, why would they want to?

Oh hey, you know me -- I'd much rather do weights than cardio, but I haven't been able to do weights in a few months for lack of time and because of my sore back, etc. I haven't done much cardio, either. I've been doing lots of Classical Stretch because it makes my back and hip feel better.

I had never done PP before and I really liked it! I have some serious butt DOMS today  . I'm trying to decide if I should do it again this weekend, or do another full body workout, like Power Hour. I love that one, too.

A 6.5 mile walk!? OMG how long did it take you? I'm not a bullet walker like you and Aug. Actually, I get very tight and burny in the calf/ankle/foot area when I try to power walk, so I usually only stroll and do other things for cardio, like my elliptical. What in the world was I doing for cardio before I got that elliptical!?

Hello to everyone else and I'll see y'all later :*

I just got some very bad news. I don't know if you guys remember, but about a year ago I posted about an old friend of ours who was diagnosed with liver cancer. Well, he's taken a turn and he's not expected to make it through the day. :-(

He's young -- in his late 40's -- and his oldest son just graduated from pharmacy school (magna cum laude!). He and his wife were just approaching the prime of their lives with so much to look forward to.

I would appreciate prayers for his family -- they're very dear.

Hi Haters. Glad to see everyone is back at it!

Cuz - I'm so very sorry to hear about your friend. That's just terrible. My thoughts are with you, him and his family. .... As for what cardio did you do before the ellptical - we all know the answer to that - NONE. :p

Dana - what a cool little prophetic dream you had. Has that ever happened before? I'd love to go on a 6 or 7 mile walk. I hope you enjoyed it!

August - good grief, woman, you are BUSY! You're going to need a vacation after this.

We finished a pain-in-the-*** proposal yesterday at work, so now life can get back to normal. I hope. Today is a rest day for me because I have to go grocery shopping after work. Maybe I'll have time for a brief stretch when I get home, or maybe a little walk with the dog.

Oh Michele I am so sorry about your friend. I'll keep him in my prayers. Cancer is a horrible, horrible disease. Nope, noone with a GED ever tries to re-enroll back in school. At least not in the 7 years I've been here has it happened.

I used to have weird things like that happen all the time. I saw a ghost when I was very small and I swear that after my mam-mam died her presence was with me. But in the past 8 years, nothing. I'm just weird I guess. :p

Shannon - what was your workout yesterday? I hope that things go back to normal for you.

I did my walk yesterday in 2 seperate "walks". The first was 2 miles at lunch and the 2nd was 4.5 miles last night. It took me an hour and 10 minutes to do the 4.5.

It is a beautiful day here and I don't feel like working, although I do have stuff that needs to get done.

Michele, I just saw your earlier post about your friend. I'm so sorry. I'm praying for his family and friends. Hugs and comfort.

Thanks you guys. I've been so depressed today, I just can't tell you. His surviving wife seems so fragile to me right now -- I don't think she ever accepted her husband's diagnosis. I would really appreciate your prayers for her and her children. Thanks :*

Michele.

So sorry to hear about your friends.

I will keep you and her in my prayers.
What a bummer.
