i read his no excuses fitness plan. i like the bootcamp workouts and his idea of eating but its hard to relate to him b/c he has always been fit and active since he was a young lad. he makes some excellent points with tough love attitude but when you don't have a clue what its like to be an emotional eater and have a monthly friend then i tend to say "whatever" LOL.
his idea of eating(which he doesn't go into great detail b/c he says he is not a nutrtionist) is to look at your hand with fingers spread slightly and that should be the amount of food on your plate with the bulk being protien and rest mainly veggies. he endorses fruit highly and also 4-6 small meals a day. he says he literally eats 3 bites of a dessert then leaves the rest(must be nice to have that power LOL).
overall its not a bad plan but when you struggle with food as comfort and deal with anxiety and depression its hard to relate to his "just do it" b/c while one day i may feel like that, other days its "who gives a crap anyway" attitude. he and i would never get along in real life EVER!
