Merry Christmas Maniacs-

This morning I did CIA Absolute Kickboxing with Kimberly Spreen - Combat Intervals/Cardio Intervals and then did Rebecca Small's Step Revolution. Workout with cooldown/stretch was 1 hour 29" and I burned 813 calories.

I also did Classical Stretch Back Pain Relief with Miranda 30".

Have a great rest day or workout everyone and Merry Christmas.

I'm going to get my bath and I'm going over Mom's at noon to see my nieces and spend the day.

Diane Sue - Have you ever read the Classical Stretch threads in the OD forum? I'm thinking the Back Pain Relief/Stress Relief DVD would be something you might like or the one with Intense Athletic STretch on it. I think Amazon has a few of them. www.Classicalstretch.com. Also, the other day when I did the foam roller workout with Keli, I let the end run on while i rolled on the sides of my neck and jaw and they show all of those Evolution videos with all of the instructors from the UK, etc and there was a clip of Rebecca Small. If you ever lie on your roller thru that part ...watch for her ....I think she has a green and black outfit on and they show a brief step segment. I just love her to death. She's so much fun. It's weird though, cuz all of the UK instructors wear long, baggy styled pants when they workout. More like karate pants.

I got my workout in and need to get things ready to go to dd's house for dinner and presents. I started with 4Day Split Low Intensity Step w/up and cardio, then I did 4DaySplit Bootcamp lower circuit (no w/up) I stopped at the core and went to the Kickbox mix and match and did round 4 and then the Kickbox cardio, core, and stretch. I then realized that I missed calves so did 4DS LIS calves and stretch. Really like a longer stretch. Tomorrow I will get more stretch/yoga in. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas:D

Lora, great calorie burn. Thanks for pointing those Classical Stretch workouts out. I bookmarked it so I can go back and look it over. DO you know if there is any video clips anywhere. They are pretty pricey. That is what I thought when I bought Flexible warrior. I really like the yoga work in that one but the set and music leave a lot to be desired. I will have to let Keli's dvd run on further. I have watched some of the other segments. I usually stand on the roller when I am done and do some rolling on my feet. DH got me the 36 inch roller which works so much better than my short one. I recently got Stott Pilates Foam Roller Challenge(wish I would have got on a roll). Have you heard of The Foam ROller workout with Lawrence Biscontini? It says on Collage that it starts out with Myofacial release exercises. I have had my eye on it.

Diane Sue - yes, Classical STretch is expensive....but Amazon carries the couple I mentioned. Make sure you check out what others around here say also. Miranda is very quirky and not the best on cueing....but I enjoy her. She is really off the wall. She gets angles on stretches that I've never experienced until I discovered her and she can work the abs and butt better than anyone with slight nuances of positioning, etc. She is an ex ballerina. She's a trip though. You'll be stretching (and she yaks a lot) and the DVDs are filmed in a Resort in Jamaica...and a bird will fly by her and she'll just go off and say oh.....look at that lovely bird....and then go on and on about the bird.....she's a hoot!...but you gotta love how she gets into all of those different angles with the stretching. I first discovered Classical STretch when I read an extensive thread at VF about how so many people with neck/upper back/shoulder problems benefited from her workouts. The 30-minute Express Workouts DVD is good for that area and I also have the entire Season on DVD which is a series of 20 minute shows (lots of them) and it is a huge variety of exercises/stretches and they are wonderful to do in the evening before bed. I think I'll take a retreat from yoga and focus on Classical Stretch for a change.

Where the heck is everyone today? Must be busy opening presents.
