Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Jillian's Backside Circuit followed by Cardio Coach #1 on the TreadMill (25") and then I did Lotte Berk - Muscle Eats Fat Bonus Blast (10") and stretch from Cathe's High Step Challenge. Workout was 1 hour 45 minutes and I burned 570 calories. I also did Yoga for Health for Depression and GI Disorders.

Have great workouts or rest days.

Toasty - sorry to hear the news about your FIL. It is a tough thing to go thru. My prayers are with you and your family.

I rec'd both my Ambiance Fitness Kit and the Steel Physique DVDs from Amazon. Steel Physique looks interesting. It's a solid weight routine and then a Pilates with weights routine and Yoga with weights routine and an ab routine. Interesting!

Ambiance......I'm not sure about yet. It's not really DVDs you follow like a normal workout DVD. It shows the exercise and then you have to pause the DVD and do your reps. It gives several routines though. I'll have to check it out before I decide if I'm keeping it or not. I guess it has it's advantages.......playing your own music, etc. We'll see. It comes with bands and door attachment and ankle straps to work your legs with which is the other thing I like about it.

Good Morning
Yesterday ended up being my rest day. So today is cardio and abs not sure what i'm doing. I wanted to start a new rotation but have no idea:( The month of june I did alot of cardio and circuit work. Lost some muscle mass not alot though and got a little leaner. We got a new computer so I might be able to put new pictures on here if i figure it out:)
Debbie are you doing another rotation? By they way you are shredded!!:)

Great workout Lora are you doing any type of rotation this month?
Be back later

This morning I did Cardio Coach Press Play. Had a great workout and needed the calorie burn from all the horrible but good foods I ate yesterday! LOL! I did well with this workout. Usually with the first challenge, which is 10 alternating hill climb and sprint intervals with little rest, I get to the half way point I have to lower the incline for hill climbs and lower the speed for the sprints. This morning I was able to keep it the same with all 10 intervals. This is one great workout.

Then I did the ab work from Leaner Legs.

Cardio stats:
1:06 total
1:00 in zone
420 calories burned! Very happy with that!
Travelled 3.8 miles.

Diane Sue - Thanks for the compliments on my new pics! You are sweet! :)

Hope you all have a great Sunday and workouts!

Hi Everyone,

Doing back today and probably go walking if I can talk hubby into it. I want to do 4 miles at the park. Love walking at the park, it's so pretty.

Debbie - you're pics are really great! You are for sure hard core! I'm hoping to get definition soon. I know it will take some time, and that's okay. I haven't weighed yet, but by the way my clothes are fitting I can tell I've lost some weight.

Just checking in. Hope everyone has a great Sunday! :)

Hey Maniacs!!

Taking a rest day today. Reading up on FIL's cancer...Angiosarcoma, which originated in liver. Interesting to read, but scary stuff.
Kinda depressing.

Been a nice day here. Weather beautiful. Dh back from his travels. Missed him so. Gonna see Die Hard together. Invited FIL, but he is feeling pretty bad now. I am gonna have to stop to visit him more to make sure things that need to get done are getting done for him and just to let him know I am there regardless of past differences. Feels like "Christmas" time in my heart..damn!!!!

Well hope you all have a gorgeous day!

Hi Everybody!

Today is a rest day for me, although I'm really tempted to lift legs. I know I should rest them but I want to lift them once a week and if not today then tomorrow starts the viscious circle of riding again. Maybe tomorrow night.

I slept in until 8 this morning (sort of - up with the dogs at 5:30, fed them, let them out and then told them about 100 times to go back to sleep :) ), then went to church while DH and the dogs slept longer. DH & I went to Sam's and we've been cutting up watermelon, pineapple, washing cherries, rasberries - yummy!

Char - You're a good woman. I'm glad you ended up not being too far from your FIL after all was said and done. Hang in there!

I did not take a rest today. I started my workout with Step Box and then I did the I Train i sculpt#10 upper, I went on to I train stretch #19 yoga core and yoga cooldown. I was not that impressed with the I train sculpt because it was really just traditional weights. fast reps at 10-15 reps for 3 sets per body part.
DH is trying to mow and cleanup the yard. With all of this rain it is hard to take care of it. Our son left with our trailer today and got a campining spot since it was first come first serve. We leave Tuesday. He called and has a site:) What a relief since it is a 4 hour drive. It really stinks that these places do it that way. Especially when you are travelling for a spot.

Debbie, I just think you look so awesome. I really want to go back tothe heavy lifting for awhile. I just need to figure out what rotation that I want to do. I do love the Bowflex for pushing myself. I will try and drag some mags with me to look at when I go camping.

Charlotte, I am so glad that you are able to be there for you fil. I am sure this is tough for him. Too bad your dh can't be there with him. My fil is battling prostrate cancer. He had his gallbladder removed last week. Not sure how long he will be with us. He lives so far away though. In WA. My sil works in the nursing home so is there for him.

Diane Sue - I'm glad your son got a camping spot for you. Good thing he was able to go early! That's how the lakes and close mountains around here are too. Do you have all of your food ready to go for your trip? How long do you usually do a rotation for? Does it just depend?

Suz, I loaded the trailer before our son took it. He took our Mudd puppy with him. We will be taking Puddle with us. They are both so big it would take a lot of room to take both in the truck. Puddle is right at 100# at 9 months and Mudd is 55# at 10 mos. I have apples and oatmeal packets that have cranberries in them I purchased at Walmart (looked pretty good on the sugars and sodium compared to others) Chicken, Omega 3 eggs, skim milk, nuts, La Tortilla factory low carb tortillas, and some jerky for dh. I will take some salad, and celery sticks with me and a couple of other things Wednesday when we leave. I have to remind myself not to much peanut butter or I may have a migraine:( I love peanut butter but really have to hit it in moderation. I also packed up some evaporated skim milk just in case I need more milk. As far as workouts mine do vary. If I go for an endurance rotation it is usually not over a month. Most of the time, less. I like to vary the heavy weight workouts. Sometimes I will do heavy weights once in a week and a circuit or endurance workout in the same week. It helps keep up both aspects.

Randi, those are nice pictures of you and your neice on the beach. I would love to go to the beach:) You look great!
