Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Fri March 16

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

I have a killer workout today so I got to stretch it out. Doing KPC and PLB plus abs. Still packing and will do so for the next umpth day. Hubby comes home tonight. Haven't seen him since Monday. FIL bought pizza last night. I ain't scared though...these workouts will destroy that pizza havoc!!!!! LOL!

Good Morning, yesterday I did Amy Bento's abs #1, LIC abs, 3.25 mile treadmill run, then Eoin Finns YFH Full happiness final 40 minutes (I realize I have done the whole thing soing all of the premixes)This one had some core work in it so I got some more boats etc in:) Today I will do cardio, a non dvd lower workout I got from a friend, then some upper body workout. I did some painting in our garage yesterday. Today I have to get out to the post office. And a store to get craft stuff for a project I am going to do with the grandchildren during spring break. It is supposed to rain most of next week:(

I ended up doing Cathe's Cardio & Weights and it ended up being soooo easy....I felt I needed to do more. I also did Guilumero Gomez's South Beach Box (20 min). Workout was about 1 hour 25 minutes and I burned 480 calories.

This Cathe workout must be a less intense cardio....as I added propulsions, hops, etc and my HR was only around 140 througout. I even lifted slightly heavier than Cathe and didn't even feel my upper body was worked out. ..........should have done my SWAT workout as planned. That's okay, I'm starting Barry's Bootcamp on Monday.

Jen - The best weight workouts I own are Cathe's (of course #1) and Jari Love's are okay, but you can't follow her with the weight....follow the guy or go higher, Barry's Bootcamp are excellent (if you buy them from HSN - you can start the rotation with me soon....I'll even wait for you to receive them....I think there's a discount code also -- they were talking about it on the Open Forum), of course Beachbody's Power Half Hour, P90 Masters & P90X, Amy Bento's All Pump Extreme, SWAT (decent but compact-- short lengths no w/u or c/d), Minna Lessig's Total Body Toning, Rebecca Small's Push & Lift - available at Fitness Organica, and Margaret Richards makes good weight tapes, but most of her leg work is lying work -- don't know if that matters to you and her DVDs are very expensive. Also, I've heard Joyce Vedral's workouts are very effective but she's goofy and her form is horrid. I finally broke down and bought 2 of her DVDs cuz I was curious and one was on sale at Fitness Organica for $10 - probably still is -- so I bought them but haven't done them yet cuz I was doing that SWAT rotation. I also have heard good things about Cory's Everson's dated workout Get Hard Arms which I recently purchased on VHS from Amazon but also have not yet tried. I think out of the entire list I gave you.....Beachbody, Amy Bento's All Pump Extreme and Barry's Bootcamp are the best. A lot of ladies on this Forum are just starting to get Barry's and they really love it!! www.Barrysbootcamp.com (but HSN sells the set slightly cheaper and search the Open Discussion Forum for the discount code - there's a thread about Barry's that's recent).

April 16th. Yup, accepted offer. I just cleared out all the pictures off walls in familyroom. Took me 10 mins, but closets take 1 hour or more. lol. It will go fast in some area and in others..forever. I am not taping boxes since we won't be moving far. Gonna be a easy move. I think. lol

This morning I did the Press Play workout from Cardio Coach. I really love this workout, very challenging and long. Challenge 1 is my favorite, it's so cool!

My stupid HRM kept messing up on me again. I hate that damn thing. This is my stats if they are right: Workout was 1:14, was in my zone for 57 minutes and burned 406 calories. Travelled 4.3 miles.

Hope you all have a great workout! I'm off today and need to get my grocery shopping done this afternoon.
 
Morning Maniacs! Had fun on my bike ride yesterday. Went for 1hr. 19 min. and burned 425. This ride was a very tough climb for most of the ride. My HR was very high and out of my zone though-out. Today will be a weight workout.

Lora- Cardio and Weights is fun though, right? :) How is your cat today?

Char- The good thing about moving is that you'll get rid of all your junk you don't need and your new house will be all spotless and organized.:) Enjoy your killer workout today! Sounds like a doosey!}(

Diane Sue- Don't forget to post your leg workout you got from your friend, after you do it.:) I love when a yoga workout throws in some ab work.

Debbie- I still haven't tried this one. Looks like we (but, me on outside on my bike) almost had the same workout, looking at our HR stats! LOL! Except I was only in my zone for 30 something min. and that was going downhill. LOL!

Dallys- most of it was fun until "Fill Me Up Buttercup" came on!! Hate that song as much as I hate Girls Just Want to Have Fun on the new LIC. Pandora is still about the same. Sleeping a lot. Not eating too good cuz she doesn't like the prescription food....so I put some regular food out today....as it's more important for her to eat right now! IMO. She's not doing any worse.......which is good. She still appears somewhat depressed and cries a lot...but I'm not sure what she's trying to tell me....LOL. Thanks for asking.

I love cats. If I could, I would have at least 4 of them. I am glad your cat seems to be doing better. Good news.

Although sleeping a lot is not really out of the norm for any cat, is it? I swear, they sleep more than they are awake!!

My legs are really fried today.......maybe I'll have to take a rest day tomorrow.......yeah right....until I get up and see that the DH isn't taking one! LOL. I really wish he would take more of them.....as I seem to feel so guilty if he works out and I don't. I'm neurotic.

He informed me that we are going away for a week in April....so I'll get 5 rest days in a row....except for walking. I guess he used the credit card for something he shouldn't have!

ETA: Guess I failed to mention that I also did Intermediate Yoga in Fiji this morning..........it was nice on the beach!!!

NROL Fatloss-1 workout A-rest 60 sec. between sets

Warmup-One set of all exercises with light weight, no rests.

*Superset
Squat 3x12x53#
Cable seated row 3x12x60#
*Superset
SB Supine hip extension 3x12xgreenband
DB shoulder push press 3x12x15's
*Superset
Rotational lunge 3x12x30#
SB crunch 3x12x12#

Workout was 40 min. Wanted to do some HIIT, but I'm wondering with all the biking I've been doing if I need it anymore. Chime in if you have thoughts on this.

Hey maniacs.
I am not doing nothing today. I am totally fried from head to toe. I can barely fricken walk and got a big tummy ache.
I have been sore before, but i had a hard time turning in bed last night.
Bod needs a rest...
KPC sounds like a good one for te weekend.

Hey Ladies
Today I have gone to work starting at 6 got home at noon took a nap and just woke up it is now 3:30. I am going to do cardio and abs havent decided yet. Have been pigging out on peanut butter I have to be getting ready to start my period! What is everyone doing for St. Patricks day? I'm going to a parade and some bars all day long i'm going to be wiped out by the end of the night!

I ended up doin bootcamp premix from kickmax and stability ball abs from B&G.
Pretty tired going to bed early tonight.
