Morning Fitness Maniacs -
This morning I did my new CIA Step tape with Gay Gasper - Cardio Step Express. I put a little more impact into the entire workout and got an excellent cardio workout. It was a little hard to follow, but not as hard as other DVDs. I will be able to get this a lot sooner. It was sort of a cross between Cathe style step and Pam Cosmi step. It had a lot of mambo's, cha cha's and pendulums, etc. That part was easy for me because of my Cathe experience. It had a bit of higher impact interspersed in between to get your HR up. I never really liked her, but she is okay in this DVD.
I also did 60 minutes of Power Yoga - Maui Yoga. I got this free (only paid for shipping) from Fitness Organica. They sent an email offering this to some of their customers last week. It was an excellent yoga tape (yes it is a VHS, but oh well).
Charlotte - I got the new Buck Cherry - it's jammin' right now. It really rocks and is much better than their previous work. It's my new fave. I'll be wearin' this one out! I sure hope the concert gets rescheduled for a day I can go.
I guess I had a better workout week than I thought. I'm pretty sore today and yesterday. I guess that Body Bar Gliding DVD I did was a little more effective than it felt when I was doing it. I think the combo between that, the Pure Strength Yoga and Turbo Jam Boxing with gloves left me pretty sore by the end of the week.
I'm leaving for Vegas this coming Saturday. I'm gonna pack later, as I won't have time to do it during the week.
Just out of curiousity.....anyone else here use an epilator instead of shaving any more? I know ....Too much information! but I have totally replaced using this instead of shaving my legs. I don't know how I lived without it. You can use it on your arms and face and elsewhere also. I need to get a better one. The one I have is a cheaper model that they carry on QVC....they have a Gold series that are better. I turned my one friend at work onto this and she is totall hooked also. They are called Emjoi hair removers and QVC sells them at www.QVC.com Check it out for summer....you'll love it as much as me! I've been using it for about 5 years now. I use it every week, but you can use it every other week if you want to, cuz it removes the hair at the root. I hope that's not TMI. LOL!
