I'm about to do a workout. Don't ask what because I don't know. I think I'll just throw all my workouts in a pile, close my eyes, and pick one. I'm still nursing the elbow -- I kind of have good days and bad days -- yesterday was a bad day.

I'm around. I was just waiting for another hater to start this. Today I'm hating not having enough time to post as much as I'd like. Wait, wasn't that what I was hating yesterday? Now with the [font color=aqua]fun fonts[/font color=aqua], I have even less time.
Today I plan on doing GS B,S,&B. Maybe abs if I have the energy.

We are leaving for VT right after work tomorrow. I have to call my sister and find out if there is any way to play a DVD for a workout. She had said my mom's TV was broken, along with everything else. I have no idea how much work we will have to put into her house before we can sell it. I know it needs new carpet at the very least. She and my mom are visiting nursing homes, so cross your fingers they can find something not too awful.

Michele, I hope today is a good day. What workout did you pull out of the pile?

OMG it's Friday eve! I didn't realize it was Thursday already:eek: . How long will it take you to get to VT? Is your DH going with you? I'll do better than cross my fingers, I'll be praying like a warrior. Finding a good nursing home is no simple task. I thought your sister was going to look for a place in Washington state near where she lives. Is that a possibility? Well, whatever state she lives in, finding her a nice home with constant supervision will allow you and you DS to live in a state of relief.

You should look into a portable DVD player. They're great for travel and easy to pack in a suitcase. They have a pretty small screen but you can also hook them up to a TV. We bought one for when we go to the MMGHH;)

Michele, my sister has found a place she likes for my mom in Spokane, but the need for a place NOW kind of caught us off guard. She wants to get my mom settled somewhere immediately, then move her to WA.

I think my sister has a portable DVD player. At least she did last year. I'm not sure if she brought it.

Jen - I was watching a business report on TV today and it looks like things are pretty bad in the mortgage business right now. I remember you commenting that people in your office have lost, or may be losing, their jobs. I sure hope your position is secure. Hopefully the market can ride this out. I really think it has a lot to do with those zero % down loans -- at least that's what I've heard. Did you find out if you have to make that trip?

August - how're those squirrels? Has your mom returned from her trip yet? Is your company still there? What's up with Oogi? Have the squirrles located Mr. Choco Raisin?

My Dad just got a great report from Mayo. Wow-what a relief. I thought I would be booking a flight tonight to Mayo for the weekend.

Jennifer - This is such GREAT news!! I've been keeping a prayer vigil for him and I will continue to do so until this whole ordeal is over with:)
 
Hey Michelle- Wow, where is everyone??? Sorry you didn't have much company today. Heck, with as slow as things are at work right now I may just start visiting during the work week!

Yeah, things in the mortgage world are crazy. The CEO of Countrywide sold all his shares and they took out 40 lines of credits w/ different banks in order to be able to fund their loans. I think they'll be next to knock off. Most of the mortgage lenders without a bank backing are the ones having lots of trouble. And yes, the option arms- the ones that start out at like 1% interest rate and then end up with a neg am. are the worst ones that people are having trouble paying. Wells Fargo never did those option arms... trust me we all lost lots of loans to companies who did them in the past 3-4 years but Wells has always been one of the few players in the mortgage world that I believe really have the customer/borrower's best interest in mind. ING & CITI are my biggest rival out in Northern CA and they both are still going strong but again, they have a bank behind them like Wells & Chase do also. Things are going to get worse before they get better. Wow, sorry for the rant there!!

My presentation yesterday went great and I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO DES MOINES next week!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I am so happy about that! My boss got me out of it, she still has to go so I owe her!

Michele - how do I know that the "gf" was not you b/c whoever she was she was from OHIO!!!!!!!! And since I have never seen you . . . HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! BAAAAHAAA!!!!

I was so busy at work today I couldn't even log on.

OK so one of my co-workers is on the phone for like 3 hours straight on personal calls and nobody says anything to her. Now don't get me wrong, she is a nice person and all but come on, and it is everyday. I have my own workload which is just never ending and I know she has stuff to do. It is mind boggling.

Jennifer - what great news about your dad.

Jen - yeah you don't have to go on your trip next week. Yeah for you!!!! So what was for din-din?

Something is wrong with my Ralphie AGAIN. He gets "zoomies" where he will just go insane and run all over. He did it last night - he ran around the bed, through the bathroom, into the walk-in closet back out around the bed and through his little maze again. He was going full force - it was either get out of the way or get hurt big time. So after he stopped he could not walk. He must've done something to his back leg. He couldn't even jump up on the bed, he finally got up there though. He is walking on it a bit better today so I hope it heals itself. Hopefully he just pulled a muscle or something b/c I cannot afford to take him back to the vet. I have over $500 in him since May and that doesn't count the outrageous price that my DH paid for him.

I'm bored - my DH went for wings with some friends and I really should be cleaning but I have no ambition. My house is a pig pen too. I"m thinking of setting the alarm for 4:30 to get something done. I"m up at 4:44 anyway so what is 15 minutes. Yes, I am weird, I set the clock for 4:44.

I didn't tell you all, my boss is having me do something that I am a bit uncomfortabe with. Teacher in service day is coming up and our district has approx 160 teachers. So she wants me to go around during their training to take pictures. Eek!!! I know you are all like, so what is the big deal???? I am so uncomfortable in crowds. I am fine if it is just a very small group of people (like maybe 3 people). I am not a very socialable person at all. Ingroups I am very shy and quiet. 1:1 with someone I am myself. If I have to stay for lunch, who will I sit with? See what kinds of things I think about. I tried to get out of it but no-can-do! I think I"ll need a valium that morning. HA!!!

Well I guess I"ll get going.

Robin my dear, if I don't log in tomorrow, have a SAFE trip to VT, and an eventful weekend. I hope you can squeeze in a w/o.

Hey Dana- Not sure you are still around or not tonight. Thanks for the vibes about the trip, they must have worked! Um... dinner... um... well... a protein bar! :p I know, I know, I need to be eating other things but NOTHING sounds good, it's been over a month now. I am eating my south beach diet wraps for lunch Mon-Fri but besides that it is fruit & protein bars, oh and yeah I added Kashi cereal too so that was din din last night!

Sport does weird things too, sounds similar to Ralphie. He acts like he sees things and it freaks me out sometimes & I'm not one to get freaked out about stuff like that either. Storm has NEVER done things like this but ever since I got Sport he will be fine & then like flip out and get scared and be looking down the hall or off the bed. It is normally in my bedroom or in the hallway but he has done it a couple times in the kitchen. Diana, my sister, says it is CJ that he "sees"... she did die in my bed and her ashes are on my dresser in the bedroom but why wouldn't Storm have been able to sense her presence if her spirit really is still here, you know? I hope Ralphie is okay too, maybe try to make him stay still for a while so whatever he pulled or whatever will heal.

About the being uncomfortable around people... you won't like what I have to say but the best thing to do is just put yourself out there & do it... you will be fine & just think of how "proud" you can feel about yourself for going outside your comfort zone & just doing it? I remember the first few times at work that I had to get up to do presentations it would freak me out... now fast forward 5 years or so and it still is uncomfortable a little b/c I don't do it daily but so much better than it was at the beginning. I have faith in you and know you'll be fine... :)
