Gym Styles question

Does anyone else find that doing heavy weight work, where you really work to your limits, makes you tired and in need of extra sleep?

I find I sleep harder! My sleeping is always pretty consistent, but I sleep really hard when I'm pushing myself with weights! Actually an extra long cardio session does this also! :) :)

I don't feel like I need much extra sleep when I really hit the weights hard, but I am HUNGRY ALL THE TIME. And not just for protein, not just for carbs, not just for fats. I want to eat ANYTHING THAT GETS IN MY WAY. It's beyond distracting, and a few times I've wondered if it's worth it to suffer through the constant-hungries for the sake of muscle building.

YES! Sometimes I come home from working out at the gym and need a nap, beause I have worked so hard. In fact, I read a lot of body building books and it is noted in them that a nap (if possible) really helps with muscle growth and repair. After all, you don't build muscle while u are working out, you only build muscle while u are sleeping!

Oh, yes, but not with Gym Styles. When was doing a P90X rotation, I needed more sleep (either an extra hour at night, or a nap during the day) for the first two weeks especially.
