Gym Style Leg reps ?

I'm doing a gym styles rotation since I finished STS. I haven't done these workouts in a couple of years. Does anyone know how many reps are done in the squats and lunges, etc. I'm trying to figure out how much weight to use. I'm thinking 50-60% 1RM as I'm thinking the reps are high.

Anyone?

Thanks.

It's been awhile since I've done this one... But I am thinking the reps are somewhere between 12 and 16. I believe for lunges you do 8 per side and then repeat. I would recommend using a lighter weight than you would think initially - this one always gets me, and it hurts to sit on the potty for days if I'm not careful about my weight selection:eek::p

I have created a workout card for this that lists the reps and rep patterns. I'll PM you with it. After STS this seems sooooo fast paced. I had to lighten my weight and pause to recover. Funny that I used to hate the rest periods, now I'm yelling at her to slow down and hold up with GS, S&H, PS, etc. LOL.

If you send me your email thru my PM, I can email you a DETAILED breakdown of this workout. A fellow Catheite was going out of the country and was looking for a breakdown on this one, since she couldn't bring her DVD with her, so I volunteered to break it down for her. I have the entire workout in a Word document, with a large table that lists the exercise, the reps speed, the number of reps, and the weight Cathe uses.

oops....I see Heather beat me to it.

I do GymStyles upper body splits pretty often, but haven't done GS Legs in quite a while. I did it the other day. I used the weight Cathe uses.

The only thing that made me sore were those calf raises! LOL! I guess my legs are pretty tough with all the running and squats/lunges/planks I do regularly. My calves stayed sore for 2 days though!
