does anyone use their iphone or ipod touch apps for the gym? I am havning a difficult time finding one that is easy to use and maybe has programs in in. share your favs please!!TIA
 
My fave is the Round Timer by Plain and Simple. I use it ALL . THE . TIME! I prefer it over the Gym Boss interval timer for ease of use. And it will sound the alarms over your music, too. All you have to do is start the iPod app first, then set the timer. I LOVE it! http://plainandsimplesoftware.com/RoundTimer.html

ETA I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I love it for circuit workouts. I use it to set the number of circuits and the rest breaks between circuits. I also use it for cardio intervals and Tabata workouts.

I really like Workout Muse for intervals. You can listen to your own music and adjust the time of workouts and time of intervals. Makes workouts a bit more interesting than just plain listening to music.
 
I like GymBuddy for tracking weight workouts. You can program different workouts in and track your lifting progress for pretty much any exercise you like (it comes with a lot of exercises already pre-programmed, but it's really easy to add new ones if you want). It also has rest period timers built in (with fixed times). Overall a pretty decent app.
