Gin Miller Short-Circuit Thoughts

1) This DVD is not sold with Collage. Very limited distribution system set up.
2) The workout uses a weighted walking vest to add intensity, without a vest, not worth the time unless you're coming off an illness and need to get back into it slowly. With the Atlus vest, it connects on top and the one Gin uses connects below waistline making it easier to do a lot of the workout b/c mine creeped up doing planks.
3)The advertised 30 minute workout includes warmup and 8 intervals with short cooldown. The stretch and the core are done seperately adding 7 minutes if you do both.
4) All plank work is done with the bench. Gin uses a towel but if you use Cathe's step cover will work better, from experience. She offers options on everything.
5)Cardio, some of the transitions are odd like jumping rope to skiing with moguls. Jumping rope was the easiest part of the interval cardio and the skiing was the toughest. Crab walks are not the same as Cathe's crab move planks. You are standing up and doing it aerobically. Jumping jacks most difficult interval especially being weighted with the vest.
6)No crew or class. It is just Gin and you similiar to Simply Step

Honestly, no one beats Cathe as far as quality of workouts in totality so I workout with Gin Miller to change things up once in awhile. Tomorrow will be Simply Interval then Bella Strength. 2012 will be High Step Training then the Hardcore series.

I viewed the sample video at totalfitnessdvd.com and I liked how she modified the squat thrust using a step instead of the floor. I can't do a full floor squat thrust(burpee) yet so I'm going to try to incorporate this modification into the Cathe videos I have.

Gin is a good instructor and as I get older I really appreciate these kinds of modifications.

Yes, she is. I appreciate Gin's workouts and Cathe's too. For me, it was nice to use the step cover and get out the weighted vest again.
The full squat thrust is something I've had issues with when starting to workout again with strong cardio. And, I push myself to do it to challenge myself.
