At the airport waiting for my flight now. Here's today's wo plan: check into hotel, run 400m intervals, grab dinner, then do D1 plus a butt burn and abs a bit later. I printed out the worksheet before I left so should be totally doable. And I should have no trouble sleeping after all that!

I will take my Mom to the doc for her regular physical. It is a good thing she has the appt. because she caught some sort of bad cold and hopefully she isn't getting
pneumonia!

Today is scheduled a rest day, I thinking doing tomorrow's workout which is TB Not sure, if I get it in. I have cramping in my butt from AT
Sherry - good job getting your run in yesterday. How long will you be gone? If the gym is to crowded, wait until you return home. I done it this way, it will not affect your workouts.
Heidi - have fun with all your workouts today. Looks fantastic Once I am done with the LIS, I will add some extra workouts into my rotation. Right now, I do enjoy the low impact and 2 day's off I guess, my body needs a little break after 8.5 month of STS.
At the airport waiting to go home. Fitness room was too busy for weight work this a.m. plus, only had increments of 5's (10's, 15's, etc.), and since it was shoulder and bicep work, needed increments of 8's and 12's, too. Might end up doing Trisets Upper for time purposes.
Belinda - glad you are enjoying the slower pace of LIS.
Long day here... I did manage to get in Low Impact Steph this morning. I didn't have time for the my plan but at least did this. I couldn't believe how much I sweated on this workout! LOL! It was fun and a great change of pace.
Belinda: OOHHH! Butt DOMS! LOL! Good job on AT! Make sure to get in some stretching this will help for sure. Enjoy your rest day!
TY for your prayers for my Mom. They worked! She has clear lungs and the Doc put her on an antibiotic to kick this bug out quick. She got into a bad coughing fit which scared me but just hearing the good news on her lungs made it better. She will get well soon.
I see her on Friday for her blood work so I am hopeful she will be feeling much better by then.
The Tri legs was the first leg workout on that DVD so I guess it was called Lower body split. It is a great workout but I would wait a couple days before attempting it so your DOMS are better.
Sherry: Great job getting in your run yesterday. I bet you were exhausted! Have a great workout with LIS Tri upper! It is totally different from what you would expect.
Didn't get a wo in last night. My flight was delayed after we got on the plane, so got home later than expected. Tonight's plan is a tempo run, so not sure about what weight work to do before heading to the RT this weekend. Don't want to do too much this close. She'll work us hard enough!

Oh I felt my legs for sure most of the night. They are just a little stiff this morning. Today I will do LIS Challenge! OH Boy this will be new for me! Wish me luck. LOL!

No run last night - had a pounding headache. Feeling much better today, and less stressed, so should get it done.

Butt Blaster Bonus (BBB)
The following mini workout will be referred to as the Butt Blaster Bonus (BBB) and should be done whenever you see BBB listed:
5 minute dynamic and active warm up followed by....
Jump Squats ...jump high and land deep in a 90 degree bend (one minute)
Walking Lunges with moderate weight dumbbells (3 minutes)
Stiff Legged Deadlifts with a barbell (2 SLOW SETS of 12 reps)
Defensive Squats (as seen in Low Max Blast) for 2 minutes
Run up and down a flight of steps in house 20 times (no breaks unless have too)
Side Lunges onto an 8 inch step height (face front as you lunge up sideways. Leg on the floor is on a straight diagonal while leg lunging onto step is bent 90 degrees at the bottom of the lunge). Do one set 20 each side. If too easy lunge up while holding a med ball or hand weight.
Bonus Butt Workout (BBW)
The following "Bonus Butt Workout" is to be done whenever you see "BBW" listed on a given day:
Bonus Butt Workout: (approximate time including stability ball segment of Pyramid Lower Body is 32 minutes)
1) One minute of squats with a challenging barbell weight
2) One legged front lunge (back leg propped up on high step)...2 alternating sets of 15 reps with weights in hands for more challenge.
3) Plie squats for one minute with a challnging barbell weight
4) Leg Press....2 alternating sets of 15 reps
5) Barbell Deadlift...2 slow sets of 15 reps
6) Wall squat with one leg elevated slightly...one minute on each leg
7) Deep and controlled power scissors for 30 seconds (or substitute one minute of walking lunges with 8 pound hand weights)
***Conclude the Bonus Butt Workout with the stability ball segment of Pyramid Lower Body

I have been doing house stuff....No workout today yet. I looked at the LIS challenge w/o and opted not to do it. Just not in the mood to learn a new step routine today.
I might end up doing CSS! The short version of course or may just call it a rest day.
Tomorrow I plan on STS #30 S,Bi and Tri. I first have to get my Mom to the lab for bloodwork after her fast. She will be starving by the time we are done! Most likely we will go for breakfast after.

Yesterday I did S&G cardio only + LIC Tri sets UB splits. I also walked the dogs.
Today I will do a dog walk and Yoga Max. That's it!
Heidi - I love S&G and Tri UB, gets my HR up. My sliding disc don't work on my carpet in my workout roon, i ended up doing it in the living roon. LIS Challenge is so much fun, if you have Cathe's RS and 4DS HIS. you know the steps!
Sherry - maybe I add BBB or BBW into my rotation next week. How are you feeling today.

Sherry: lol! Oh no! So what incline did your TM end up being on? the rule here is to put things back the way you found them... That way there aren't any accidents like tripping over weights etc.

No w/o yesterday, just too much to do. My Mom is feeling better and I will take her to see her friend on tues. he has been moved to rehab after being in the hospital for double pneumonia.
