Good morning, ladies!

Happy Friday! We're closing out another week this weekend! Let's rock it right to the end of Sunday night! What are your plans for the weekend? When is your Free Day???

My spin class last night was so FUN, but HARD! lol It was AWESOME and so glad I signed up! I'm a bit sore is some 'private' areas, (sorry if it's TMI, lol) from that darn little bitty seat! lol But it will pass.

This morning was lower body. BULGARIAN SQUATS! I was reading about them at the Tracker so I added them to this morning's workout. OUCH OUCH OUCH! Basically, it's a one-legged squat with your back leg up high on a step or bench. I used 10s/15s/20s/25s and OUCH! I'm feeling it in my hams and glutes ALREADY! I'll be waddling at work!

I have to hit and run. I'm heading into school early; my younger DS's class is baking in the cafeteria and I'm helping out! I'll check back later after school!

It seems that you and I are the early birds here. :)

I have one recommendation...Get a gel bike seat cover for your next cycle session. Makes a world of difference!;-)

My friend for whom I have known for years runs a spin class out of her house just behind me. Have I been yet?....No! Chicken I guess. We used to run together a few years back. But with our schedules clashing most of the time it was too hard to get together.
Maybe I should see about checking out her class with my friend that comes over 3 times a week.

Bulgarian squats you say... I seem to recall one of Cathe's exercises being something similar to this. I will have to check this out because it sounds like it really gets you good! }(

Gayle~ Sounds like you had a awesome Spin Class! I have always wanted to try it, but I will have to wait until my endurance level increases again.

Bulgarian squats are awesome! They have these in BBC Legs DVD.. You feel them good the next day.
Had major DOMS last night, I guess they caught up w/ me. Every time I moved around last night, I woke up b/c the DOMS were so bad in my Legs...In a good way of course :) :)

I can't believe I finished W1 (well almost) without cheating. I feel great! You guys are 1/2 way through, right?
Sunday is my Free Day, I promised myself not to over-do it...as 1-day could easily turn into a entire week thing. It helps that my BF works all weekend, b/c he is known to cook up pasta non-stop, can't resist that! :)

Tonight is Shoulders/Back/BBC DVD.. :) I heard this was a tough one. What are your reviews on this? I think next week I will start using the Pyramids and then alternate week from week.

I don't know if it's possible, but I am seeing slow results here and their, def. less bloated! I only lost 2.5 pds this week ( I know don't look at the scale ).. LOL :)

Heidi-thanks for the rec on the bike seat! lol ANd I vote you try out your friend's classes. It rocked!!!

Free Day on Sunday. What I've been doing is planning a nice free meal for dinner time. This week, I'm thinking LASAGNA! lol Then throughout the day, I snack on things that I don't 'get' during the week. Like my Chex Mix, a new Trail Mix that my mom brought me last night, cereal with milk, etc.

I stepped on the scale today and it's showing me DOWN! WOO HOO! I'm pumped. I was a bit afraid I'd be up after LAST Monday and Tuesday's splurges. But the persistence paid off and the re-grouping really helped too! That's a total of 13.4# GONE! LOVE IT!!!

What workout are you all planning tomorrow: I've got HIIT, and I'm seriously considering piggy-backing iTread 19 then iTread 13 for an hour of tough sprints.

Hi everyone,

Gayle: Are you sure you want to combine the two iTreads after your leg workout? Watch out for tight hamstrings! This is what I did on Monday and Tues. by Weds I started to think I had better break up the intervals a little more. This is why on Thurs. I did the LIC workout instead of another run. iTread #24 is an incredible 60min interval workout if you are looking for one.

My DH is probably going to make his famous clam chowder for Sunday. Can't wait for that because I haven't had this in awhile.

Workout for Saturday: Depending on whether or not I get to my leg workout today I will do a trail run. I have been busy today housecleaning and preparing the 1st bath walls for paint.

I am really exhausted right now! Went to bed at 1am after daughter came home from catering late. She is working again after school and will again need to be picked up at the train station. I must have got maybe 3.5hrs of sleep last night. I woke at 5am to get DD up and out at 6am to start her day all over again. She is going to be wiped by Sat night. I probably won't see her at all on Sunday because she will be sleeping all day to catch up.

Jennifer: Keep up the good work! Awesome...2.5 in 1 week! Must be from adding in a little extra cardio on the treadmill. Oh and of course being as good as you can be! :)

Well, it is that time again to run out to get my DS from school.

Heidi-thanks to your rec, I've added iTread 24 (AND iTread 21) BOTH in my shopping cart! LOL They're both interval runs. We'll see if I end up actually buying them! lol

Hi Gayle,

I did the #21 interval on Friday last week. This burned 349 calories for the 35min workout.

Luckily for you that you have credits to make some great purchases.

I will have to let you know how the 60min interval #24 goes next week. I will be doing this probably on Tues.

Need more coffee!
