I have a rotation question. I'm currently finishing up Fitness Freak's circuit mix rotation and I want to start some serious weight lifting to get nice muscle mass and definition :) I'm planning to start with Cathe's March '06 Strong Like Bull rotation, but what about the lower body? It's generally only worked once/week except for week 4 she has PLB twice. Do I do the exercises with no weights? Sub out for something else? I'd really like to lean down my lower body so it's a better proportion to my upper body (which will hopefully increase in lean mass!) I'm wanting to try no weight/just body weight for this rotation to see if it helps. TIA for all advice, recommendations, etc.

Hi Carol,

I am starting to do the same thing - I build muscle very easily and am realizing that my legs and butt are very muscular - but too big for many of my clothes now! In my quest to figure this out, I did the Legs and Glutes Extreme premix today with very light and no weight. It was a killer - so, although I haven't gotten far enough to see results yet, doing more reps of the same workouts with no weights seems almost as intense - and will hopefully help to avoid more bulk. I am also going to try this with Leaner Legs, GS Legs, etc. - and just tack on extra sets. But the LG premixes seem to be very worthwhile since even in the original format the weights are pretty light.

Good Luck -HTH,
