It's official -- I have a slipped disk in my back. It's not the kind that is pressing on the nerve, just a bulging disk that has been causing pain. After several visits with my chiropracter, it's finally getting better. I've been walking every day as part of my rehab, and now I feel like I am about ready to get back into exercise. So where do I start?
Before the back problem, I had just completed Cathe's November '06 rotation, so I was in fairly good shape. I have not exercised for about 3 weeks now (I don't count the walks because they have been slow). I'm thinking of starting back with LoMax and some earlier step videos, and then, if all goes well, maybe some circuit workouts. Does that sound wise?
I will talk with my chiropracter of course, but he isn't familiar with Cathe so when I tell him I'm a video exerciser, he doesn't really get what that means. So I'm hoping that some of you can offer some advice.
Thanks!
Mel
