Drill Max Premix

Cathlete
I just finished doing the original version of Drill Max - I feel wonderful! However, the last time I did Drill Max I did the Cardio/Leg premix and I have to say I think it is harder... does anyone else agree or am I just crazy?

I tend to need more cardio & lower body work so maybe that is why? I get bulky easy in the bottom half and my upper half & ABS respond very quick so I never "worry" about them.

Also, I haven't done any Premixes for Butts & Guts - any suggestions on what you like and think is as challenging if not more than the original?

Thanks!

Jen,

Try out premix #3 - Leg Blast.}( }( Yeowch! That it'll get you good. I've done premix #2 Overall Legs as well several times. I do remember feeling wobbly after that premix #2 though. I didn't have major DOMS, but felt the burn for sure while doing the workout. I did do an hour spin class the night before, so my muscles may have been a bit fatigued?

Good luck. Make sure you report back!

I will try one of those premix in my rotation next week & let you know!!! Thanks for the tip! I just love Drill Max!

Hey Dallas - I did B&G today but did the original, I hadn't done in a while & was really looking forward to it. Question - I'm assuming the Leg Blast doesn't include the AB segment, which I'm fine with, but my butt is my major problem area so I'm wondering if Leg Blast hits the butt as well as the original? Sounds like a stupid question I know but since it's a Butt & Guts workout, I would think the Leg Blast premix would still have to get the butt pretty good? Do you remember the breakdown of it?

Thanks & happy new year to you!

The leg blast premix will hit your butt!!! I haven't done it, but it has walking lunges, step ups (leg press, walking lunges, fire walkers, walking lunges, squat lunge sequence, oh and did I mention walking lunges? I will have to try this one. I too really need to work on lower body.

When I do the leg blast premix - which I love - I also add on the floor work and the abs section. Very thorough - takes about an hour and 15 minutes.

That sounds like a good idea, I think next time I do B&G I'll do the Leg blast & add the floor work as I really like the floor work she does.

Thanks Lorrie & Catherine!:)
