doms big time after running

Oh I am so worried. I haven't run inthree months. I have however been active with insanity, cardio core circuit, p90x. I work out five days a week. I felt so good tonite I thought it's time to run. Three miles. Can't go down steps now the doms is horrible. Any advice? Advil has been taken. Tomorrow is uper body. Thursday some sort of muscle stretch?
 
Soak in a warm bath with epsom salts.
Do a lower-body stretching workout tomorrow, or, if you have a "Stick" or a "Tiger Tail" rollers (or even a rolling pin!) roll over the muscles, gently, after your soak.
Also, try to keep moving regularly: I find that my DOMS feels much worse after I get up from sitting for a while.

(Even though you've been keeping active with intense workouts, every type of activity has its own specific way of using muscles, hence the DOMS after a 3-mile run when you haven't been running for a while).
 
keep moving, I like the stick too, and stretch.

Calcium at night helps my legs recover when I run.
