Does Dating Make You Fat?

Hi everyone!

As you know, I am in the process of losing 60 pounds and blogging about it. I wrote about the tendency to let myself go once I'm in a relationship. You can see today's entry at http://ejis60x6.squarespace.com. I'm wondering if any of you have experienced the same thing.

And if you missed yesterday's blog, it features our beloved Cathe!

Thanks for reading, friends!
Warmest,
Elizabeth

It made me stay fat longer because the guys who are interested in large and lovely want you to stay that way and get mad at you when you don't do what you want. A**hole*. boo hiss. When I turned 28 I decided to do what was right for me and I started to lose weight. When I turned 30, I decided that dating was more hassle than it was worth and all of a sudden it felt like a huge load was lifted from my shoulders. Now I do what I want and don't worry about fitting what my parents want, what some guy wants, or even what I used to think I wanted.

Oh I gained weight when I started dating DH which was....12 yrs ago, I guess. I didn't go up to to much. Maybe 15 lbs or so. The new relationship plus collage made me gain weight. I have also learned that I can not eat whatever and whenever DH eats! My God...I would be as big as a house!

We also have a friend who is in a new relationship and I think she as gained about 10 lbs over the past few monthes. She is on a diet now b/c she is short so 10 lbs is alot when it as no where to go...and she can't fit into any of her clothes. I have tried to give her some advice but she doesn't have much of a clue when it comes to clean eating and exercise. I guess she will have to learn the hard way.

You all are hilarious!!! That 10 pounds on a short person has nowhere to go! And that dating makes you skinny but commitment makes you fat...amen, sister...amen!

Thanks for the posts! See you soon...
