Im taking a rest day today,my niece is coming over so running around after her is enough exercise for me:confused:

A late check-in for me - looks like I'm not the only one having trouble getting here.

Race results - we ran the Turkey Day 5K last Thursday, and although my time wasn't great, the most important thing was - MY KNEES DIDN'T HURT! I'm so glad that I can run again.

Didn't do any other exercise over the weekend. Today was the first chance to get back into it. I was so tired still that I reached for Basic Step, because that way I didn't have to think or exert myself so hard. then, I was still tired, so I laid down to rest and woke up 2 hours later. Guess I needed it because I felt so much better later and got tons done today. Downside is that I gained a couple of pounds over the weekend, the same couple that keep leaving and coming back.

I just saw Cathe's Dec rotation and think I'll jump in on it. Just what I need - short workouts and a mix of weights and cardio. Anyone want to join me?
