Disappointing Sequels

I had heard that Legally Blonde 2 wasn't nearly as good as the original which I can see over and over again. I got #2 from the library yesterday and started watching it. It didn't take more than a couple of minutes for me to ask the proverbial "why?" I quickly realized that it would be o.k. if I took a nap - perhaps I might have a sequel to one of my own dreams worthy of viewing. There was 15 minutes left to the movie when I woke up. *Note* My mother was watching the movie with me also and fell asleep. I didn't think there was any point to watching the finale. Today I was going to take it out of the DVD player and my mother wanted to see how it ended. Why, I have no idea. So, it's torturing me, I mean playing now and I am here on the boards. Needless to say, I don't know why this movie was ever made. I know there are other sequels that should be in sequel heaven but I can't think of them. At least the other 2 movies that I got are not sequels so I won't be posting about them here. :7 Are there any sequels that you think should have been canned before they hit the big screen?

Jaws 3, 4, and 5

And Godfather 3.

Jaws 2 and Godfather 2 were very good sequels

Toy Story 2 may have been even better than the original.

I have to agree with you about Legally Blonde 2. SO bad. I felt sorry for Reese Witherspoon. I love her. Wanted to like her in LB2 but just couldn't. The movie was nauseating...

Anyhoo, I'm a big fan of the Bourne Supremacy series. All three have been awesome. I hated Godfather 3, though.

Shrek 2 will always be my favorite. SOooooo much better than the first! I could've done without the third though.

On a Cathe note, Body Max 2 outdoes Body Max 1 by a longslide in my opinion. I looooove Imax 2 as well. Much better than Interval Max and a lot better than Imax 3.

The Jaws sequel with Bess Armstrong was just awful. They couldn't have made the shark in the water look any faker.

At least Reese redeemed herself with her subsequent movie and I think most people have forgotten about LB2.

Grease 2 was also a pretty bad sequel although in an odd way, it does have its appeal. Plus, I like Michelle Pfeiffer.
