Dilemma :) Of a good sort

I have preordered shock cardio (And i am sooo excited) but I have to chose what I want of my Grandma for Christmas. The thing I want most, is cathe dvds (4 day split to be exact). I am hesitating in doing so, however, because I will recieve all the shock cardio dvds at once, and then this new routine aswell :) I was just wondering how you all feel about new dvds: I LOVE the excitement when one arrives in the post, hence why i am thinking maybe I should wait a while. having said that, Christmas is a great opportunity!

Do you think 4 Day split is worth getting and holding in reserve for a while?
I can't find that many threads on 4 day split: Do you all rate it?
 
I have 4 day split and I'm glad I have it, but to be honest I don't use it that often. I'm not a big step person, so 2 of them I don't even use. As for the Kickbox and Bootcamp there ok, but not my favorites....that said I do LOVE the weight workouts on these, but if you have STS you really don't need them....I think there are tons of other better Cathe DVD's....Butts and Gutts, Drill Max and Muscle Max are some of my favorites...good luck

STS is the workout I really want, but I don't think I can afford it. I discovered Cathe too late to get benefit from the preorder price, and the current price is too much for me. If I got 4 day split it would be for the weights primarily (and the bootcamp workout which looks VERY fun).

Just to add to my question then, is it worth getting just 1 mesocycle of STS instead? I could probably afford that... and if so, which is the best?

I love 4DS the step is so much fun, I have been doing the Boot camp and kick box recently and now that I can do the boot camp all the way through with out collapsing, I love it too:p. The fast wide run at the end with push ups gets you good !!
I love the leg work out the low plane lunges are my favorite and it was the first work out that I went super heavy with my BB for squats. It has many challenges triceps with ball and feet on step, heavy bicep work, BB rows Cathe uses 60 lbs :eek:
I havn't done it as is I use the pre-mixes, double up the cardio or the leg work or double the upper body splits for my work outs.
I have been doing STS weights but I will come back to these dvd's.
Shoulder work is awesome " double trouble" etc. we work em good, the only thing I missed was more weight work for chest, but the various push ups make up for it and it is a good change I figure. HTH
